Title: Request to reopen the Australian Embassy

Didjawannanotherbeer - November 19, 2006 01:41 PM (GMT)
G'day to all in Canada.

For quite some time Canada and Australia enjoyed good diplomatic relations with each other, but sadly our region fell into apathy for several months and so the Canadian government decided to withdraw their embassy until such time as the situation improved.

I am now glad to say that interest in regional politics has livened up again in Australia to the point where we will be having parliamentary elections early in 2007. Several political parties have been formed and campaigning is already under way.

I have been chosen to represent Australia in the region of Canada, and hereby request the reopening of an Australian embassy here. The Canadian embassy in Australia is still standing - we just need to dust out the cobwebs and clear up a few empty bottles that ParrrTay left behind and it will be fit for habitation again.

Please pay a visit to Australia and have a look around.

Many thanks for your time,

Didjawannanotherbeer

Feel free to look around

Bet you didn't find any chocolate doughnuts left behind. ;)

Funnily enough, not a one. :)

Though we did find a suspicious trail of chocolate crumbs leading out the front door.
