Title: Embassy for Crimea?
Description: Seeking diplomatic relations with Canada

Hammer - November 18, 2006 02:14 PM (GMT)
The region of Crimea seeks an embassy exchange with the fine Region of Canada!

Some of you might already know me as the former Liberalian ambassador to Canada. Crimea was originally started as a Liberalian experiment into a communal government system, but it has evolved into a very RP heavy board. All official ties to Liberalia have been severed due to their unwillingness to pass a Crimean Protectorate Act and due to security disputes over access to banned IP lists. Crimea is now an independent, democratic region.

Our focus has been to improve the RP environment first to attract new members, and then start building up the fledgling government. All original members were familiar with each other already from Liberalia, but this has changed. Crimea has several non-Liberalians now.

New political parties are being founded. Elections have been declared for our first PM and we are asking candidates to declare their intentions now. Constitutional talks have recently been started. Board membership is currently at 17, and we are adding more than one new user a day on average. Thank you for your consideration!

This request has been withdrawn. The forum board formerly associated with the region of Crimea will know be known as Lichentia. Lichentia is also our NS Region name. A request for Lichentia will be coming soon.

Cabinet decided against ties at this time with Crimea, but since the request has been withdrawn I look forward to hearing from Lichentia.

Thank you for your consideration! Our embassy request will be delayed as we are currently; working away at the new constitution, having an election between the 10th and the 13th of this month and building up board membership. I look forward to talking with you all again soon! :cananim:
