king_girl - March 21, 2006 10:40 PM (GMT)
Alright....it isn't great. I am learning though. Please feel free to tear it to shreads. I am not easily insulted. Please don't post it for 48 hours, when I have had a chance to work on it with everyones suggestions.
Oh yeah, and THANK YOU to everyone who helped.

Diplomatic Events- Although flattered, Canada voted against exchanging embassies with Christian Outreach, and International Democratic Union.
Regional Affairs:- Sports
Fantasy Hockey
-Canada6 continues their domination of the Birth Place of Hockey league with over 3000 pts more then second place Durass Dreadnaughts. Though the real story this week is: Where did the Number 17 go? Hmmm, freaky.
Fantasy Basketball
- Equalism and Canada Basketball league is turning into a sprint to the end of the regular season, with both Nooterlands, and Canada6 (our sporting nation)
securing a playoff spot. With the trade deadline fastly approaching many expect an exciting week to come.
Fantasy Baseball
-The NS Warriors Baseball league has been drafted. It sports 12 teams, including the Sport Juggernauts Canada6 Maple Jays (that actually sounds like it’d taste good). The season looks to be long and full of surprises.
- Special welcome to new members: Ellen, The Fiefdom of Stinky Buds, The Jolly Roger Despotate of Kotanik, The Community of Joe Bobs, The Democratic Republic of Lobago, The Grand Duchy of Cymraega, and Jonquiere-Tadoussac, Foreign Affairs from International Democratic Union.
Governmental Affairs- There has been talk of starting a regional newspaper
- Canada voted:a tie on UN Resolution at Vote, Right to Form Unions therefore a vote was withheld.
- a new Amendment was added to our Constitution

Alright KG! :clapping:
Fix a few quotes and URL links 'because they have a mind of their own and only work correctly when they want to! :wall:
Spell ParrrrTay correctly and I think it is great!

Few small things:
At the beginning, where it states the people who helped, there's either an extra "and" or a person missing.
After that, try to fix the three links so they're on the same line -- spacesaver and it looks better.
Put a line between the end of "Fantasy Baseball" and the special welcomes in the RP section.
Please fix the date :P Last time I checked, it was March, not January ;)
Try to space out the part in the Watercooler Happenings -- it looks like there isn't enough spaces, so the words are pushed together. And I believe Kotanik's name is spelled with a 'k', not a 'c'.
That's my critique. I like the fact that you gave how many posts we've done on the forums; I thought that was a neat touch. It looks good! Thanks for the hard work, KG!

Thank you for your help. I got tired of trying to see it all myself.
Keep the suggestions coming. Please wait one more day before posting.

In the entry dealing with the UN resolution, replace "there for" with "therefore".
Should we include the latest constitutional amendment?

I don't have time to list the changes I see needed at the moment (not because there are so many, but because I am leaving very soon), so just know that there are more.
General BenjaminA - March 23, 2006 02:48 AM (GMT)
Ok, I understand completely.

Consider: While Winter is officially over now (although it doesn't seem like it in some places), Hockey is still alive ... at least in our Fantasy league. The Birthplace of Hockey is seeing Canada6 royally trump the rest of the pack, leading with over 3,000 pts above the second place Durass Dreadnaughts. Though the real story this week is: Where did the Number 17 go? Hmmm, freaky.
(long-ish, possibly don't consider for too long)

Consider: The Equilism/Canada Fantasy basketball league is turning into a sprint to the end of the regular season, with both the Nooterland Nets (I believe this is the team name, if not, I'd add it in) and the Canada6 (insert team name securing playoff spots. With the trade deadline fastly approaching many expect an exciting week to come.
