I don't have a report for this week. As I am new and have gone on a whirlwind tour of our Embassies, I would like to get a better feel for each of them.

I am asking that our Ambassadors please tell me a few things they like about the region(s) they take care of. Then post those thoughts in your Ambassador office in those regions. I think it will help each region to know they are well thought of here, and why Canada enjoys their association.

If you are as new to your Ambassadorship as I am, post something postive and an invitation to get to know you better (or something akin to that).

Would you like this posted here as well, or will you be going back to all the embassies over the span of the week to make sure people are doing their jobs?

All of the people in England are very friendly and they love kisses, they even added some of the emoticons I brought there. But most important of all they added my 'lips' !

The people in Q102 are tons of fun and very well organized. A very active bunch over there. They even ran a personal thread just to wish me 'Happy Birthday' How can I not 'luv their guts?' :wub:

Australia is pretty quiet. Westaway's bouncing attitude always brings a smile to my face. They have the coolest emoticons there. This one is my favorite!

I would like them here and I will be checking all of them (not to check up on the Ambassadors, I love you guys), to let the regions know that I am around and that I want to do this well.

GeneralBenjamin - may I suggest you take a few moments and do some research? Maybe actually read something? The fact that an Ambassadorial Report post has been made almost every week for the past ... oh ... long while ... might actually make you think that it would be ready every week.

We have a new minister and she is getting acquainted with her new role. Patience is a virtue and currently I find you lack virtues. Try this one on for size.

Really ... you've all welcomed me here with generosity and class. Texas was my first Ambassadorial post and I had no real clue what I was doing. Thanks to everyone here for easing my fears and allowing me to feel acquainted.

NewTexas is one of the most friendly people I've ever met in life, let alone in the NS world. His direction has helped me not only here, but in my home region of Canada as well.

While currently AWOL (and I do hope all is well), Yertie also was a huge part in making me feel welcome here. My shopping experiences here should sya that in volumes, let alone my sig line.

Bottom line ... I've grown to really like this place. I believe if for whatever reason I leave Canada in the future (not that I plan to, but who knows??), Texas will be the region I move to (if wanted).

Thanks guys ... it means a lot.

WRONG!

I literally begged for this position. Truthfully, Bamada is hilarious on the Canada boards and we have a stinking G/PG rating on our boards over there. I'd been quietly sneaking a peak over here once in awhile and been absolutely hurt after laughing so hard at the stuff I read.

Danitoria has literally made me spit water out of my nose while inadvertantly laughing at something he wrote. And generally, this was done in the Ambassador reports to Canada - not in the imbodied post the snippet came from. I'd have to come over here to get the rest of the story and then laugh even harder.

I really like ... some ... stuff. Well hell ... I'm high and can't remember specific examples, but I know you've done some groundbreaking NS stuff here that is worthy of recognition.

Also, my welcoming thread is currently over five pages. I have NEVER had a welcoming thread go that long. You could all really hate me, but I'll still feel completely loved because of the sheer length of that thread.

In fact, that thread will now officially be my flirting thread. We'll see how quickly the thread dies.

Finally - I wanted to be here simply for the reason that General Benjamin was from here and I get a kick out of him. :fonz: Wanted to see him on his ole stomping grounds as well as in Canada.
