| When a Minister fails to hold office and the Deputy Minister position is vacant, or should the vote of confidence poll not grant the interim Minister the permanent title and portfolio of Minister, the Prime Minister may appoint a Minister to fill the position. The appointment is subject to majority Cabinet approval prior to assuming the title and portfolio of the Cabinet position from the interim Minister, for the balance of the current cabinet term. Where there is a tie in a Cabinet appointment approval vote, the Prime Minister shall have a tie-breaking vote. The Prime Minister shall not otherwise be entitled to vote in a Cabinet appointment approval vote. It has been raised that there is currently, some Consitutional ambiguity in place with regard to King_Girl's appointment to Cabinet. The concern is:

This means that there is no need for a Vote of Confidence at present, and it may be that the current wording may be referring to situations where a Deputy Minister is an Interim Minister but doesn't pass the Vote of Confidence.
Cabinet is currently looking into rectifying this wording and situational ambiguity with the working hypothesis centered around Cabinet approval granting the title and portfolio, a Vote of Confidence is needed by the Region to be permanently retain the title and portfolio for the remainder of the Cabinet term.
