Title: World Jump Day
Description: to save planet earth
NoFunNinjas - January 28, 2006 10:41 PM (GMT)
World Jump Day. on this day people will all jump at the exact same moment with the intention of moving planet earth into a different orbit. it has been sugjested my scientists that if at least 600 million people jump at the same time it will create enough force to move the earth into a different orbit.
watch video. it is very likely this change in planetary positioning would stop global warming, increase daylight hours, and create a more habitable climate in the areas of earth with climate extremes such as the areas with many of the 3rd world countries. this is not a joke, these scientists actualy thnk this would be possible.

...thus destroying our weather system, and killing off many hundreds of thousands of creatures?
Even if this was possible: no thanks.

These scientists have been drinking far too much wild up. :eyebrow:

Or not enough...

Technically speaking, with the earth's out layers being somewhat plastic, the net effect of everyone jumping at the same time would be a giant sloshing of these soemwhat liquid/plastic regions, which more than likely cause various climactic disasters, perhaps simply a tsunami or maybe as complex as triggering violent earthquakes and volcanic activity. But hey, I'm safe in Indiana, I say let's go for it.
Other problems include 1) precision of the jumping, 2) unless the jumps all occur in the same general direction, many of the forces would cancel each other out (imagine the vectors of the jumps), 3) not enough WildUp was used to freeup the creative thinking, 4) not enough was withheld to encourage the nessary critical thinking.

As I'm one state over, I'll agree with that...

I think we should start cutting off the supply of Insane root for scientists ASAP.

Ah, might as well jump. Jump!
Go ahead and jump
Might as well jump. Jump!
