Forgive my late report, normal service will follow shortly

Europa Update

Elections
Bit of a farce, not enough people stood for election so everyone who stood was elected I say there are too many senators in that case . Ministers have also been apointed.

RP
Europa is gripped in a *pause* well phony war. In essence it all kicked off when a nation called Xheng tryed to annex a small kingdom on its border. Sabre rattling ensued and almost the whole of Europa are fighting...Well at war, no fighting has actually taken place yet.

Spy Shock!
A nation called The Republic of Gomaria infiltrated Europa and T.E.A. His real name is The Kingdom of Deutschland-Fatherland and is a resident of NAZI EUROPE. Not the first time Europa has had trouble with Nazis

T.E.A
Talking of TEA, things have settled down a little, a couple of nations are on holiday and we are winding down however, we did sucessfully defend Northern Ireland last week

I might be saying goodbye to you all soon as I maybe getting the boot from Europa very soon. Something is rotten in the state of Denmark, so to speak.

Nothing I've done however, I've become vocal against our founders policy.

Something smells in Denmark.

I just gotta say that it is nice to see someone else use that expression.

Defectiveness - February 18, 2006 09:57 PM (GMT)
Scipii, would I be within my rights to ask just what the disagreement is? It seems odd you'd be kicked out merely for disagreeing with policy.

Scipii - February 18, 2006 11:38 PM (GMT)
Long story really. It all started in the realms of RP. Lets just say things got bitter and somewhat heated all because of a nation called Xheng, who has a history of causing trouble in RP regions <_< i.e. Europe. Anyway as I said things got out of hand and the mods tried to sort it out however, our founder has now got involved and riden roughshot over the two mods and imposed a puny five day ban on Xheng, who of course is happy with this as his nation was about to be f***** over by a coalition of six countries (all of which were more powerful than himself). One mod has been unjustly blamed for the trouble by our founder and some of the senate. I stand by the mods and blame Xheng for the trouble and holy disagree with his punishment (as do several other prominent members of Europa). However, our founder is not listening to peoples grievances and I've become somewhat vocal and uncompromising in my criticism of the whole affair.

I'm sure it will all be sorted out without any blood spilt...I hope

Hey! How's it going!

Scipii, you won't be getting the boot soon. Or at least I hope you won't.

Scipii - February 21, 2006 11:33 AM (GMT)
I was in a dark place when I posted my original fears Tag. I was about to go toe to toe with EE about the issue of Xheng... Aki pulled me away from the light :fonz:

Sorry about the fact that we haven't posted an update for coming on a month. As bad as it sounds coming from the Foreign Minister of a region, I'm not quite sure what's a-going on in a lot of the embassies under me

So, here's the update for this week, after you lot not having one for a very long time. Again, I apologise for this :P

Numbers We’ve once again crested the 280-mark, with several nations coming in to the region. I and Pirilao, who is also a Senator, are pressing on with recruitment. More members have promised their help, but this is yet to materialise ;)

Internal Affairs Quiet. Too quiet. Nothing has really happened in our Internal Affairs department recently, apart from one of our members, Rhomanoi, has proposed a new UN Resolution, which is still making its way through our region at the moment. It would be a great help if, once it is submitted to the UN, people from this region can take a look at it and help him out. I’m not sure of the procedure in the UN, so I don’t really know what goes on. Here’s the resolution

Foreign Affairs Again, nothing out of the ordinary, except that our diplomat to the region of Belgium, Joe Dov, has had to retire from this position due to not having enough time to handle the extra work that this has meant. I, as Foreign Minister, will have to find a replacement soon, unless he is able to return.

Roleplay The Hidaya Miliki conflict has ground to a halt, and the Deltannian Civil War has finished.

We’ve begun polling for a new map. This is fairly urgent, as it does effect all of the on-going RPs or those about to start.

There has also been an outbreak of violence in Ide Jima, as well as several other incidents.

Well, that’s all for this week, see you again with a much more regular update this next one!

Thank you, Tagmatium Rules

It is good to hear from you.

Tagmatium Rules - January 22, 2007 01:57 PM (GMT)
I apologise for the complete lack of communications from our end recently, but activity has been reduced in Europa, and I've been entirely sucked into Uni life. This means that I can't find as much time for NS as before, but now I'll try to get Europa's foreign affairs back on track. This means updates more often.

Thanks for not closing this consulate, by the way! I'm grateful for that.

(You may find that this thread irretrievably lost all of the posts since March when the Server crashed, so you're off the hook :P)
