Title: Canadian Loony

Where Are The CBs - January 20, 2006 03:32 AM (GMT)
Mr. Speaker, in the hope to progress the prosparity of every nation in the region of Canada, I feel that we sould adopt a regoinal currency! This would end such things as cheep labour in economically poor nations, while allowing them to also participate easier in regoinal trade without paying the concuquences of a weak currency.

I purpose, that every willing nation in Canada adopt the Canadian Loony as it's regoinal currency. Every Loony is worth .5: Gemetrian Aureus, or in my respective nation 2.35: CBian Happy Peanuts.

But, the loony is just the name for our one-dollar coin. The Canadian currency is still 'the dollar'... oh, and Defectiveness would not be a part of this. :)

Gemetria is outraged at yet another auslander attempt to control the lucrative Gemetrian currency market! Gemetria's economic might will not be harnessed to prop up the failing currencies from poorly managed nations!

However, if any countries are unhappy with their current leadership and economic performance: Gemetria offers clean and efficient government as one of it’s mighty provinces.

Well how about a national bartering system. we could get rid of money all together and trade in goats, cows, and camels. Of course then we would have to worry about GMO. I hear Gemetria engineers their goats so their cheese doesnt taste soo bad.

Tiny Villages still uses with the barter system. Would you accept a "freshly killed chicken to loony" exchange?

Goats were phased out a long time ago. We do have companies selling delicious scum-cheeses that come in goat flavour.

Goat flavored eh...does it taste good on sesame seed crackers? cause if it does ill trade you 5000 mules for 1 tone of cheese.

Uhm. . .Temme doesn't have much of any kind of economic system for export at all. We don't have much trade contact with outside nations.

How about children? we need more to work in the sulfur mines. Its hard to find good child labor these days, you know what I mean?

Unfortunately, we barely have enough children as it is. Our population tends to be, um, squeamish about such things.
