Hello,

My region, the International Democratic Union (IDU), will be hosting a regional cheese festival. The festival includes a category for "Best Cheese Imported to the IDU", which would include some of the diary products our people purcase from your companies. :)

We are looking for friendly nations to either submit entries to the festival and/or to judge the entries that are submitted. It should be relatively easy to do ... you either write about a popular cheese product from your nation and/or judge other countries entries.

(Once you've written an entry, it is easy to add it to NSWiki, giving your nation a cultural / agricultural product to better fill our your NSWiki articles.)

It should be fun. The festival will be held during the second full moon of 2006 (i.e. in about 28 days).

Hope to see some Canadian nations there!

The deadline for entries to the First Annual IDU Cheese Festival is Sunday Feb. 12, 2006 (2nd Full Moon of the Lunar Calendar)

Thus far the following entries have been submitted.

Category: Best IDU Cheese
- Baranxtua Hard Cheese (Baranxtu)
- Gouda Cheese (Groot Gouda)
- Kolatch Gouda (Ceorana)
- Moksaitabunauha Ipantli (Otea)

Category: Best Imported Cheese to the IDU
- Paràgel (Yelda)

Category: Best Cheese Related Product
- Thuvian Fondue (Mikitivity)

IDU members and IDU importers may also enter the “Best Cheese Related Product” (hint hint). Tomorrow night, I’ll try and encourage some other entries from the IDU and other regions, but please invite others to enter as well!

Even if you don't want to enter, please make a point to stop by after Feb. 12 to vote on the cheeses! :)
