Anyone know why I can not post on teh forum? I registered but dont get the option to post or reply...?

It's happened to a few other people. In their case it was their firewall settings.

FYI - I am able to post on this computer... but not my home computer... wierd... home computer has nothing special for firewall settings... basic zone alarm....i would htink my work computer has more complicated firewall.... interesting,...

It could be anynumber of issues.
Are thre any error messages or missing buttons when you're at home conguered-land?
It may also be worth checking firewall settings as already mentioned by hudson bay.

thanks. no error messages, but no buttons either... the buttons to the left of each thread are gone and so are the buttons to add a reply or new thread... wierd... guess i will post just from this computer :eyebrow:

I seem to remember there may have been a similar problem a little while ago. I just can't find the thread.

I don't use zone alarm but I was told that to get it to work with this forum you need to:
Cookie control - disabled
Ad blocking - off
Mobil code control - off

I don't understand what any of those settings have to do with loading button graphics but that is what it seems to take to get zone alarm to let them display.

Under 'Privacy' settings in Zone Alarm, they must be all turned off to view the buttons ;)
