Title: Ambassador's Day Celebration!

Judith Gap - November 18, 2005 06:39 PM (GMT)
Welcome to the Ambassador's Day celebration!

I wanted to take a moment in middle of what seems to be a very hectic schedule for everyone. Thank you all ambassadors. All of you do a remarkable job giving selflessly of your time and representing our region. I had planned on buying you all cars as a note of appreciation, but then I was informed that cost was not in my budget. I though about watches and had the same response. I thought about toy cars and apparently that was also way outside of my budget. Instead, I will be sending you a pm with a gift which you could put in your signatures, if you wanted.

I also want to thank ambassadors and ministers from regions beoynd Canada. Friendships with others is what makes democracies strong, and I feel that Canada most indeed be very strong to have such good friends.

Let's move on to the party after this toast:

Beaver-Country-Canada - November 18, 2005 07:06 PM (GMT)
Welcome to Ambassador's Day!

As the former Minister of Foreign Affairs and the current Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, I have seen this country's embassorial district grow and thrive. Canada's ambassadors are a good, solid group of people, and our embassies are bigger and better than ever.

To the Ambassadors! Three Cheers!

420_Celebrants - November 18, 2005 07:46 PM (GMT)
I managed to gather some beer for any that partake.

The ever gracious Yertanistan in Texas has given me 10 cases of his Yertie Brand Beer.

This full bodied beer is a secret blend of grains cultivated by the Yertanian people for almost a thousand years!

Oh ... and it tastes dang good. Feel free to have one or a few.

Little smoked salmon and sourcream blintzes
JT can you get some of them from Daemon for me?
<bats eyelashes>

Ess - November 18, 2005 07:53 PM (GMT)
Why, SWATH - I'd be delighted, thank-you! ^_^

*takes SWATH's arm*

Beaver-Country-Canada - November 18, 2005 07:57 PM (GMT)
*watches Ess and SWATH with admiration*

Ess, you're a fabulous dancer! Where did you learn to dance like that?

SWATH - November 18, 2005 07:57 PM (GMT)
Starts to Tango with Ess

Jack_Tarr - November 18, 2005 07:59 PM (GMT)
Thinks to himself how he just knew there would be a catch if he danced with this minx. But now to risk life and limb by trying to get hors duerves away from Daemon.

Sweetie, I think you stand a much better chance of getting them by batting those beautiful eyelashes at him yourself. Could I interest you in some cocktail franks or kinishes instead?

Looks at his watch and thinks how he hopes JD will get here soon.

Whipers to Lelana...(you're one to talk...you are the most awesome dancer I have ever seen...makes me feel like I have two left feet...)

Pulls L closer to him as the band begins another slow dance....

Ess - November 18, 2005 08:11 PM (GMT)
Thanks for a wonderful dance, SWATH! ^_^

Would you like to see if we can wrestle some blintzes away from Daemon?
