Title: Help me with my psychology homework, please
Description: Pretty please with a cherry on top?

kana da - October 4, 2005 12:59 AM (GMT)
Ok, here's the thing. We were supposed to come up with some experiment to do, and I chose a questionnaire on why church doesn't start in the afternoon. Although we were allowed to make up data, I decided to get my data from here. If you're not religiously inclined, feel free to invent something, but please keep it realistic (no 3:00 AM services please :P )

1. Are you a religious leader? Yes No
If yes, please complete section 2 of the form. If not, please complete section 1.
Section 1
2. What time does your service start? If there is more than one service, please list the one that you attend: __:__ am or pm
3. What time do you need to get up in order to attend this service? __:__ am or pm
4. Are you currently completely satisfied with your service time? Yes No
5. If no, what time would you like to see the service at? __:__ am or pm?
6. Why?
7. Any further comments?

Section 2
8. What time does your service start? __:__ am or pm
9. Would you ever consider changing your service time? Yes No
10. If yes, what would cause you to change the time? 11. If no, why not?
12. If your parishioners asked you to change the time, would you? Yes No
13. Why or why not?
14. Any further comments?

9. Would you ever consider changing your service time? Yes No

11. If no, why not? My followers are devoted and will not stand for any other time. 7 PM is after dinner but before bedtime, the perfect time to begin brainwashing... I'm sorry, I meant our service.
12. If your parishioners asked you to change the time, would you? Yes No
13. Why or why not? Because it's likely that they never will. This time is convenient for everyone!

1. Are you a religious leader? I take my turns

2. What time does your service start? If there is more than one service, please list the one that you attend: 10:20 am

3. What time do you need to get up in order to attend this service? I am always up around 5:30 or 6:00 am so church doesn't change my "awake" time.

4. Are you currently completely satisfied with your service time? Yes

5. If no, what time would you like to see the service at? anytime is good.

6. Why? We share a church building with three congregations and we just rotate times...like one group will come at 9:00 am, one at 11:00 am, and one at 1:00 pm. So I know that every year I will get a new time starting in January. It makes anytime okay if you know you only have to keep it for a year.

7. Any further comments? I like the system we have.

Thank you all so very much for all your help. I've just finished tabulating the results, and discovering that my survey was very much flawed.

Bamada - October 5, 2005 02:00 AM (GMT)
What was flawed with it?

kana da - October 5, 2005 02:01 AM (GMT)
I realized that I hadn't asked a lot of relevant questions such as the other possible services and what day of the week the services are.

j delight - October 10, 2005 03:06 PM (GMT)
did we get a good grade?

kana da - October 10, 2005 04:01 PM (GMT)
100% :fonz:
