Yet another election has been completed and the region of Canada continues to shine when it comes to exercising democracy. I am overjoyed at the solid turnout of voters. It shatters the 2004 October Election mark.

Congratulations to all participants.

Congratulations to those who voted, for they have spoken out with their votes.
Congratulations to those that have organised the elections, guaranteeing the democratic renewal of the mandates of Canada’s government officials.

Congratulations to those of you that have ran and lost. Keep in mind that you have just taken part in something that is very precious and ultimately priceless. Democracy.

Congratulations to the victors, for they have earned the confidence of this region’s members and the legitimacy to govern, as well as having gained a responsibility to our region and its members.

I’d like to give special warm thanks, to my runner-up, 420_Celebrants.

And finally.

I thank those who voted for me. I am grateful for having this responsibility bestowed upon me, and I will do my best not to let you down.

Anxious and eager to get started, I will strive to remain faithful and, equipped with an open mind for necessary and inevitable changes, implement what I have presented, in what is a quite ambitious and somewhat idealistic, campaign platform, working, negotiating and debating together with the members of the new cabinet.
To conclude this electoral process, I’d like to quote myself, from back when it started…

Canada - There ain't nothin' like it here. :Canada:

P.S. I will now be making final contacts with other members, with the purpose of appointing a new Deputy Minister as soon as possible.
