Dear Diary,

Today I started as head coach. I spent most of the time watching them do drills they already know. Most of the guys seem all right, but I don't think we'll have anything big.

Honestly, though, Diary, when it comes down to them as people, not as hockey players, they're not too bad, but could use a bit more in the "respecting women" department. The arena is set up so that I can hear everything they say in the locker room, and I don't think they respect me as a person either. Take this conversation:

Guy 1 (I couldn't quite tell who said it): Oh, I hear we have a chick for a coach.
Guy 2: Yeah, she's a real crazy. She fired our former coach 'cause he told Hemsky he shoots like a girl.
Guy 1: Ooh, a women's libber. That's so cute.

So you see what I'm working with, Diary. Other than that, they seem like decent guys. I'm gonna work on some general fitness with them. Tomorrow we hit the pool.

Dear Diary,

Forget about wearing two hats. I'm wearing two completely different sets of clothing. I wore sweats today for the first time in public since 8th grade gym class. I pulled into the Timmy Ho's drive through to get a morning hot chocolate and a doughnut. Then, I headed to the community pool. Diary, these players whined like babies during the water workout. One of them (I still can't keep the different players straight) even asked to go down the waterslide! I hope they're more stoic on the ice.

After lunch, I went home and changed into my manager's suit, then did paperwork all afternoon. All I want to do now is sit and watch television for the rest of the night. I must run, there's a Dukes of Hazzard rerun on that I have to watch.

Here we are, Where Are The CBs Sports. Today we have Coach of the CBs Abuser Kyle Francois with us to talk of the recent trade seeing: Thorton, Elias, and Tarnstrom, go to 420Leafs today, for Chara, Leclair, and Speeza, what do you think of this move.

"Ay, I beleive GM, Fitzgerald knows abit 'bout dis 'ere game. But what he does not seem to tink 'bout is da time we need to practice. Thorton big da twinklin' star of our roster, and Fitzy traded him fur who, Speeza. I know we be week on da Defense wit, Schiedier dere bein' our best, but dats why I tuaght we pick us up Hill. Chara bein' one of dis here best and Tarnstrom bein' a bloody foul yes we got us somethin' dere, and not to mention I am releive we got dat STD ridin Elais outta my 'ere line up, befer he start givin' all da boyz dat Hep A crap. Good news is Speeza is a good offensive sight and may make up for the lack of Thorton might, but 'ere be da warin' Fitzy you be keepin' dis team tegeter now, or I will not be an happy person!"

OOC: I have no problem with it, but I do think that with that post someone should change the title of it, since it's no longer soley Lucky's diary.

OOC: so how would one go about doing that?

OOC: I think a mod can do it, but it could need an admin. I'm not sure how to go about it. Lemme check something and get back to you.

It should just need a mod, but a mod for the forum. C6 and CBs are the mods for this forum.

I would actually argue towards merging this in with the main Fantasy Hockey thread.

I looked in at "The Village" where I mod, and I couldn't find where to change the topic titles.

Dear Diary,

I'm writing this from inside the Timmy Ho's, and I am so nervous. Today is the first game of the season. I gave the guys the day off to prepare however they prepare. As for me, preparation consists of eating all the doughnuts they bake, and even some of the stale ones. I still don't know what I'll be wearing tonight. I hope I can find something. What will the other coaches be wearing? I hate this job. I stinking hate this job.
