I must say, i am very impressed with Toronto. I have been drunk since thursday and I love it. Im staying and The Grand (which sucks, dont book a room here ), so its only a 5 buck cab ride to most clubs. Besides the squeegy kids (sp) and the sketchy bumbs, I dont mind this place. Although, I dont think I could live here. I like my medium sized towns over the 4 million mega cities.
all in all woooooot! now im off ot abuse room service somore (its freeee!!!)

That's because the hotel's on Jarvis. The people tend to get less sketchy west of there.
Glad you're having a good time in T.O.! :D

Yeah, the panhandlers in Vancouver have become pretty aggressive and pretty numerous. I don't remember it being this bad when I left?
Which clubs you been hittin' up?

Living in Toronto was a priviledge I had for 16 years. The downtown area where you are probably staying is a place for work, and recreation. Not residency. I suggest the Dufferin - St. Clair Area... quiet... calm... relaxed... easy access to everything... schools and fire departments on every other corner... etc .etc. :Canada:

I think downtown Toronto is a great place to live. Probably because "quiet" isn't really my thing. :D
As for other areas of the city, I love the Yonge & Eglinton area. Midtown seems like nice place to live. :)

I loved the shopping, that's for sure! ;)
TO, however, isn't small enough for me -- I can't even handle Calgary sometimes, and its only 1.1 million!!

Only 1.1 million? Saskatchewan as a whole province has less than that!

LOL, well, you know my little town, castlegar? Its about 1/6 of the size of my UNIVERSITY.
7000 people VS 50,000 people...
whoa. :P

Whoa is right.
Lemme check out how many people SFU has.
Edit: the Undergraduate students are 1/2 of Prince Albert's population.
