I'm a bit new at working with/composing UN resolutions, so I was wondering if I could get some input and assistance.
Lately, the UN has been getting very controlling over nations, forcing them to produce things or institute policies that can impact our economies, political freedoms and even in some instances civil rights in a negitive fashion. Unfortunately, I do not think it is feasable to end such nonsense in one stroke.
Thus I seek to propose the UN Economic Soverignty Act, an extention of Resolution #4, banning taxation. It will prevent resolutions that would force member governments from picking up the bill of their actions, and increase accountability as to where the funding for these various programs come from. It is a violation of the spirit of the taxation ban to use a loophole to force governments to fund the UN's pet projects.
Good idea. I think it will get a lot of support. I think it will be quite difficult to word accurately. The only immediate suggestion I have is that you should make it clear that it only applies from now on, so that it does not get ruled out of orderl because of conflict with existing resolutions.

Indeed, that's why I was looking for help on it. Something along the nature of "This act is not ex post facto, but may be cited as reason to repeal a passed resolution..."
