Post your real life pictures here. I'll break the ice and get things started.

Sorry ladies. Chances are you're not gonna' be able to meet an individual as knowledgable and accomplished as myself

As you can see, I'm a long time scout trooper with more badges than most men have IQ's. Naturally, I've become the object of envy for many men whose self-esteem has bottomed out and, thus, compensate for this by punishing those who are their natural superiors. Or maybe guys are jealous because the ladies want more than your typical football jockie whose biggest achievement is counting up to three on his fingers. I only wish I could reach out to every woman out there and show'em they don't need to settle for Mr. "MVP" of the high school football team but there's only so much of me that can go around. Sorry ladies.

This is embarassing. But, as delegate, I guess I should lead by example.

I know you're probably all thinking: "Why is she wearing a garbage bag?"
Well, I have a perfectly good explanation...I was drunk.
That and we were in quebec, and they gave us a pile of garbage bags for some reason, so I decided to make good use of one. :)

Canadiiya - February 12, 2004 04:32 AM (GMT)

I'll bite...

why?

been up since 6:30 a.m. on a saturday after being up until 2 a.m. I was at a speech and debate tournament (which was held at a local highschool) and a bunch of kids I know and I were all hanging out upstairs (almost everyone else was downstairs), and I decided to take a nap. The flash from the camera actually woke me up, too.

dunefish - February 12, 2004 06:02 AM (GMT)
Just for reference, that is me on the right, and McRae on the left.

It is a spoof of a sportscentre commercial that we did at the christmas party.

(Not pictured: McRae's girlfriend Jess, who took it)

I'll add my own when I look more human. Currently I'm in a dishevelled state and would probably cause horrific psychological damage to those who view it.

Beaver-Country-Canada - March 23, 2004 09:38 PM (GMT)
Alright, I hope this link works; I'm the girl, BTW, the other guy is my brother, and that's in Calgary last summer. Best picture I could find! :P Have fun

My brother and me in Calgary, summer 2003

Lelana

EDIT: Got a real link this time :)

MrPopo - April 9, 2004 03:22 AM (GMT)
Alright I'll bite. But yet I should be careful. My buddy in Saskatchewan region has yet to see my face. I'm wondering if putting an image to the insanity might scarr him for life. Hope so :D

PS: Ladies will have to take a number and a seat on the uncomfortable wooden bench in the corner. I got it discount froma church :D. I'm going as fast as I can. But theres so many ladies so little time

PSS: Oh if anyone from lethbridge dost recognize me.....I know its been like 10 years since I lived there but it IS possible. I'd like to get in touch with old friends.

It's not working....fix it  :D

you're above post, makes me want to see it... ;)

Carb - still in a "dishevelled" shape? :P

bweezy - April 9, 2004 04:17 AM (GMT)
To see Popo, just right click on the dead image link, right click on it, click on properties, then copy the link that shows up, and paste it in your browser. Because it is a geocities link, it won't work remotely, but will work if you stick the URL in your browser.

Carbanousa - April 9, 2004 02:50 PM (GMT)
To true Checkers. I'll probably host it from my web site as FTP when I can be bothered. To much to do at the moment and yes - I'm lazy.
Nice pic MrPopo. Instead of all the clicking why not just change it to the URL?

MrPopo - April 9, 2004 04:19 PM (GMT)
good idea

http://ca.geocities.com/aras_seth/picture_007.jpg
(the link seems to work if you copy/paste the addy into the browser rather than clicking on the link for some reason)

Also, am computer illiterate. I don't know what went wrong with the pic. But that sucks that it didn't work. Now if you need me I'll be playing Ninja Turtles games on my SNES emulator. Ah, good ol' Donatello!

So does anyone recognise me? Anyone at all? PS: My real name is Shawn if that helps. If not, then you're f***ed :o ;)

Other possible help in recognising me: I used to have a real bad 60's gelled look goin on as a kid. I mean, i looked like a goofy midget businessman, hair parted to the side and all.

Carbanousa - April 9, 2004 04:42 PM (GMT)
Pride in one's appearance is nothing to ashamed of MrPop. (Even if your avataar look is Captain Kirk!)
(I love Star-trek by the way)
:P

MrPopo - April 9, 2004 05:03 PM (GMT)
star trek is wonderful! Don't knock the kirk! Or Conan Obrian. Nobody better knock the Obrian.

Carbanousa - April 9, 2004 05:07 PM (GMT)
Miles O'Brien. Sorry.
I agree. The man's transprter knowledge is superb.
Unlike Scotty's. That's just stupid. I mean, a pattern locked in cycle for 100 years when they crashed. By diverting all power to the transporter pattern buffer and using the Nacells, it would never lose power. Cunning. Genious. A flange worthy of Marvel.

Carbanousa - April 10, 2004 12:15 PM (GMT)
Just seeing if you'd bite. :P

MrPopo - April 10, 2004 03:57 PM (GMT)
Testing my star trek trivia database are we? Rememeber, I'm the one with the Kirk avatar :D

Oh I guess theres another clue about me in lethbridge. Me n my idiot friends used to play StarTrek on the playground back in elementary school. Ah, good times :D. Beat the hell out of boy catch girl. You can only chase and kiss a girl so many times before it got old - at least when i was 8 anyways ;)

So Checks, did you recognise me at all?

You are the only other person that I know of who played that!
I played it when I was 7.
Started young! :P
I believe we called it boy catch girl - girl catch boy. ^_^

Checkers McDog - April 11, 2004 12:13 AM (GMT)
eew! boys have cooties! :P

Carbanousa - April 11, 2004 12:28 AM (GMT)
KC - we have the same glasses. Way cool! :D

MrPopo - April 11, 2004 09:36 AM (GMT)
my mistake. I thought you lived in lethbridge. I know 3 ppl in this forum do. Guess I wasnt really paying attention who they were, exactly. Oh well.

Yeah we called it many a thing. Boy catch girl-girl catch boy, etc etc. I've been playing it since I was in preschool! Even played it with some grade 2ers! Thats right, started young ;), and the older girls loved me ;)

Carbanousa - April 11, 2004 12:13 PM (GMT)
