1. No law shall be made restricting freedom of speech, thought, opinion, or artistic expression. Speech directly ordering violent acts is restricted. Speech that is deliberately untruthful, fraudulent, and slanderous is restricted. Slander and libel consist only of knowingly publishing falsehoods as fact with intent to harm. True statements and statements presented as opinion or satire are immune from prosecution.

2. All Government is to remain secular. No laws shall be made concerning a union between the state and religion. This however does not mean that the government is anti-religion. No laws shall be passed taking away the right to worship or not worship as they please.

3. The Government will make no laws restricting the freedom of the Press. The right of the Press to distribute information is vital and the Government will not make any laws attacking the Press even in times of war.

4. To protect country, self, family, and property the right to own weapons will be granted to all citizens over eighteen years of age in Libertarian Canada. Firearms, cutting weapons, and striking weapons are allowed. Any further weaponry that may be legalized will be decided by the legislature if need be.

5. The right of travel within the borders of Libertarian Canada, to leave Libertarian Canada and the right of citizens to enter Libertarian Canada will not be infringed.

6. A trial for a criminal offence will only take place if a Grand Jury decides that a court proceeding is necessary to establish guilt or innocence of the accused party. The accused has the right to assist in their own defence and if need be act as their own lawyer. In criminal proceedings, the accused will enjoy a speedy and public trial. No one is to be deprived of life, freedom, or property without due process of law. No one shall be punished for a crime that took place before the act was made illegal. Nobody shall be forced to provide witness against themself. The accused will not be forced to stand trial for the same offence twice if a verdict has been delivered. All criminal court proceedings the defendant will considered innocent until the accused is proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt by an impartial jury of the accused peers. All evidence of guilt must be obtained by a warrant authorized by a judge. If circumstances do not allow a warrant to be obtained, the higher courts will decide if said search was constitutional. The laws of Libertarian Canada are valid only within national territory and any area administered by the Government.

7. The crime of treason consists of willing and knowingly providing un-coerced aid, comfort, and support to an enemy of Libertarian Canada during a time of war. No person shall be convicted of the crime of treason unless there is testimony of three witnesses to the some overt act.

8. While in custody the suspect will not be subjected to torture, execution, starvation, deprivation of water, or needlessly aggressive interrogation.

9. Excessive fines and bail will not be imposed. No person under the jurisdiction of the Government will subjected to corporal punishment, torture, rape, slavery, and any other form of cruel and unusual punishment. Capital punishment is prohibited for crimes with exception of within the military services and for the crime of treason.

10. Slavery, forced labour, and involuntary servitude will not be practiced by either private citizens or the state.

11. All citizens over the age of eighteen are allowed to vote. No law shall be made restricting a non-imprisoned citizen from voting.

12. No laws shall be made prohibiting consensual sexual acts between adults.

13. Conscription shall only be lawful in time of declared war and in a manner prescribed by law.

14. All citizens of Libertarian Canada and foreigners have the right to own, buy, and sell property. The Government reserves the right to take private property and put it to Government and private use if the State provides fair and adequate compensation in a manner prescribed by law.

15. Citizens shall not be subjected to excessive taxes or fees imposed by the State.

16. The right of association shall not be infringed. All residents of Libertarian Canada have the right to form friendships, clubs, unions, guilds, non-profit organizations, and other such groups. The people who inhabit Libertarian Canada have the right to chose whoever they socialize with and groups that they form are allowed to choose their members.

17. No soldier, Government official, or other Person shall, in time of peace, be quartered in any house without the consent of the owner. In time of war the manner of occupation of property will be stipulated by law.

18. The Government is prohibited from spying on or otherwise violating the security and privacy of all people under the jurisdiction of Libertarian Canada. All person, papers, and house are prohibited for search without a warrant.

19. No citizen can ever be deprived of citizenship for any reason or crime with the exception of treason.

20. No law shall be passed making it a crime to be of a certain ethnic group, nationality, or race.

21. All rights are considered equal and enumeration shall be misconstrued to deny any other right.
