Title: UN Proposal: Prevent Communicable Diseases
Description: Poll and Proposal description

Humanitarina - June 25, 2005 01:01 AM (GMT)
Prevent Communicable Diseases
A resolution to ban, legalize, or encourage recreational drugs.

The nation of Humanitarina has recently submitted a proposal to the UN regarding prevention of the transmission of communicable diseases from drug/drug paraphernalia use.

Category: Recreational Drug Use
Decision: Promote
Proposed by: Humanitarina

Description: In Humanitarina we strongly believe that all people have the freedom to choose any lifestyle they wish, without directly harming others.

Recognizing that in any region/nation, people could be transmitting disease through distributing used drug paraphernalia to other users;
Admitting the awareness that many nations either prohibit most forms of recreational drug use, hence creating a larger black market/underground drug scene, allowing citizens to look for alternative means of finding the proper drugs or paraphernalia (often resulting in harmful effects to the individual's health);

We suggest to promote the prevention of communicable diseases (primarily from drug needles/siringes) by offering professional health clinics to assist the use of recreational drugs (whether legal or illegal).

I don't think there's much of a point in merging the the thread, as it would just add a bunch of unnecessary posts about merging the threads to the other one.

I'll just lock this topic, and refer you all to the poll and discussion here.
