Ok, before I vote, Carb - please explain...
Carbanousa - June 23, 2005 06:11 PM (GMT)
Oops... typo. I meant Option 1.
Option two currently has no votes.
Ess - June 23, 2005 06:25 PM (GMT)
Whew!
I was worried there for a minute! :P
Now - off to vote.
Option one, tyvm! :)

No matter what the system, I would continue to support Chex. I can't imagine Canada without her at the helm.
Ess - June 27, 2005 04:40 AM (GMT)
I can't imagine that, either.

Me either!!! :)

Chex is a great delegate and a big part of Canada. However, there is nothing to prevent her from becoming bored with NS (or more likely something much more interesting begins to take up her time in RL).
We don't what to invest everything in just one person. If she should decide to retire (being delegate IS a lot of work, don't take that for granted) we don't want our region to fall apart.
Having said that - Chex Rules, All Others Drool! :Canada:

That's the worry I have - that Checkers gets too busy in R/L to be delegate anymore. :(
I've stopped collecting endorsements as I wouldn't be a good delegate.
I think Carb's in second place behind Checkers and I think he'd make a fine delegate! :)

Shall we start a 'Self-appreciation' society? Could be fun... :P :hide:

What's wrong with knowing and admitting to one's limitations?
Daemon - June 27, 2005 08:39 PM (GMT)
Well, I personally don't think that the statement was true. I haven't seen any limits so far that would disqualify you.
Plus if you are endorsed by the majority of the people in Canada, clearly some people think that you are fit for the job.
Ess - June 27, 2005 08:51 PM (GMT)
Limitations:
The delegate/PM should visit other regions, etc.
I rarely visit other regions/forums and don't want to!
I am not into/very knowledgeable about politics and don't want to get more involved in politics here than I am already - which is very little.
I don't want to work as hard as Checkers does.
If I had admin. rights, I'd probably screw up the board somehow! :P
I think that people have endorsed me because A - I've endorsed them, B - they know my name because of all of my posts, C - I was a Minister, D - I'm always here and E - they don't know how bad I could be!

Actually, that seems more like the MoFA's area of responsibility--the PM is mostly concerned with intraregional politics, especially when it comes to the UN.

You'd have to try pretty hard to screw something up on this board, at least to the point where it couldn't be rectified...

Ok - thanks, Red, but the rest still stands! :P
