Parliament Hill, iToba -- The Première of The Armed Republic of iToba has finally announced the date for the nations first official election.

"iToba's first general election will be held May 16"

This will be the first election the nation has had since declaring independence from The Nomadic Peoples of Avec Fromage. The current government was formed by members of the iTobian Independence Army. The iIA is most well known for its constant assassinations of members of the corrupt, Liberal government of The Nomadic Peoples of Avec Fromage.

News of his announcement sparked mass protests and demonstrations by iTobian citizens who want more government control of the newly formed nation. The current government is expected to be re-elected with a vast majority, since many citezens fear "Liberals" and want to ensure that they are not taken back to the situation they were in before independence.

Upon becoming a nation, the iTobian government, or iIA, has continued its practice of executing any who seem to advocate liberal policies. Those found to take any kind of liberal stance are first striped of there citizenship (since no citizen is allowed to be detained for any reason) and then executed.

Forty-six people were arrested in connection with the demonstrations and executions are expected to begin mid-next week.

I would like to congratulate your government on the upcomming elections. As many nations know, civil unrest can be troublesome durring such events. The Albertan Empire suffered three years of civil war after my government was "voted" into power.

As a man who hates demonstrations of civil unrest, The Albertan Empire is willing to provide any extra police services needed to maintain order. We have developed many "less" leathal weapons that may be of service to your police force as well.

Prepared Statement For The Armed Republic of iToba by The Magnate of The Albertan Empire

The Albertan Empire is prepared to commit a Battalion of 900 specialists with support vehicles to the iToban millitary/police. I am willing to commit STOMP for an indeffinite time to iToba or when no longer needed.
I have mobalized STOMP ,Special Taskforce of Millitary Police, to ACTIVE status. Alpha group, which consists of 300 specialists, are prepared to deploy in 12 hours. Bravo and omega will be able to move over the next 24 hours due to transportaion issues.
Col.Henry Ovherkill will lead STOMP and will be accompanied by Baron Von Short-Shorts, my deputy Deffense Minister to over see the operation.

I would also like to inform the iTobian Minister of National Security that our STORM troopers have been placed on READY status incase a coup is attempted on the government. The use of our STORM troopers must be approved by the Minister of National Security of iToba before we will mobalize. These are specialists NOT trained in "Less" lethlal force, and constitutes as a foreign military force within your borders.

I would also like to thank the Minister of National Security for such kind words regarding the controversy regarding the disposal of nuclear waste. i am sure this missunderstanding will be resolved without any dissorder from my loyal citizens.
