Title: The North Pacific Situation

Caer Rialis - January 26, 2005 06:33 PM (GMT)
I would like to read this proclamation from the South Pacific in regards to recent events in the North Pacific:

QUOTE
The South Pacific is saddened by the recent events in the North Pacific. It is with regret that we now reassess our position on exisiting peace treaties, and alliances with the NP.

The South Pacific will open it's doors to any North Pacific resident requiring refuge from the current situation.

The South Pacific does not condone the actions of Moldavia/Pierconium or Pixiedance, and will not hold the former NP government, or the PRP accountable for the actions of rogue senators.

The South Pacific does not recognise the current government of the NP as being legitimate, therefore, we render all peace treaties, alliances and pacts void.

The South Pacific regrets that they have had to make these decisions. In the interest of democracy and peace, the South Pacific hopes that the internal conflicts within the NP can be resolved, so that the region may return to a democratic regime as soon as possible. We look forward to resuming ties with the NP soon.

Fudgetopia,
Vice President of the South Pacific

In other news, Karatafasadi has been elected the enw Secretary of Foreign Affairs for the South Pacific. I hope that all relations between our regions remain strong.

Caer Rialis
Former Secretary of Foreign Affairs
The South Pacific
