Hello again Canada, I am here to announce my candidacy in for Minster of Regional Affairs. I have been involved in a variety of leadership positions from Minster of Regional Affairs to Canadian Sporting Association President and Deputy Prime Minster. I think, my record in that regard speaks for itself.

I'm not usually a promise man, but, I assure all Canadians that should I be elected, I will work hard. Day and Night this region will be my number 1 priority and with me as Minister of Regional Affairs, I can assure you that I will ensure that Canada remains a strong and vibrant region.

Now, if there's any questions or comments, please feel free to post them.

a-nirvana has proposed adding a "bill of rights" to our constitution. Do you see a need for this, and if so would your approach differ in any way from his?

No, I do not at this time see a need for a "bill of rights". From my understanding, I think everything's been covered in the various laws that have been created. There is dispute resolution laws, laws defining what can and cannot be said on the forums. So, if there was any concerns of discrimination, or the lack of fairness in a trial, I think it has already been covered. Thus, I reiterate that I do not see why a bill or charter of rights is needed.

It has occured to me, that I haven't fully made clear my intention to the voting population so, right now, I will lay out my plans for the upcoming term(should I be elected to cabinet)

First, I would like to see a greater participation within the government sections of these forums. More mass telegrams through the NS site will almost definately help raise the level of awareness as to what goes on here at the offsite forum. With a greater raised level of awareness, a greater intrest within the workings of government is bound to happen. Hopefully, there will be more opposition to what cabinet does by a greater frequency of question within the House of Commons forum and thus leading to more participation by the parties themselves.

Secondly, I would like to progressively increase the the number of nations that currently reside in this region. As of now, there are currently, 318 nations which reside in Canada. I, would like to see that number rise to about 370ish by the time of the next election. If this number is reached with active participation by about 20% on the offsite forum, I think government participation would be very high.

Thirdly, my plans also include to actively encourage the various poltical leaders of each of the parties to actively take a vocal role in the House. Recently, a referendum occured as to when to hold this particular election, and after much discussion, it was decided that instead of having the elections in January as DH had proposed, it was decided that a election would be held now, not in two weeks hence. Now, originally, it seemed that that DH's proposal would pass easily, however, vocal opposition prevented it from happening. In fact, we ended up having a record number of votes in the referendum. To me, this proved that a greater opposition needs to occur in order to see a greater activity within the governence of the region.

Overall, my main goals are to see a greater participation in government of this region by the population. There are 318 nations in the region, I think that not enough of them actively participate in the political affairs of this region. By greater political participation within regional affairs, Canada, can become a greater region than it already is.
