Title: Regional Webpage Update Report
Description: ^what it says
MrPopo - November 4, 2004 09:16 AM (GMT)
1. Some of the backgrounds weren't working so they were altered. No big deal
2. The interregional diplomatic ties page has been altered to reflect ALL our current embassies
3. Standing by to update the constitution if need be
4. Would still like to put special emphasis on the MEMBER NATIONS page, and request nations submit their histories and maps - mostly for my curiosity.
5. The previous poll about how to expand the map will now come into play. After the next nation is added to the map, I will expand the map based on the results of that poll. Vote wisely.

Is there any sort of requirments for the history of map of the nation? And how can I design a map for myself?

First go read here. These are the guidelines.
http://ca.geocities.com/aras_seth/membernations.htmlStep one, of course, is to request a spot on our regional map if you haven't already done so. To do that, send a private message to me. The map can be found here.
http://ca.geocities.com/aras_seth/regionalmap.htmlOnce you're assigned a spot you can do what me, and a couple other nations have done... design a detailed map based off of that maps dimensions. I'd personally prefer if you hosted the map and history on your own personal webpages, just because that way you can always update it without having to resubmit it to me.
Thats about it.
Everyone else, get to it. I'm looking at cabinet especially! Lead by example!

Well that doesn't sound too bad. But how did everyone else make their maps? They look pretty 'pimped out', and I'm no graphic artist. Though I do enjoy a good catographing

I used paintshop pro 7 for mine. Basically I took a copy of the regional map, cut out my nation, and drew a freehand of the rough outline of the shape of my nation. Then I added some simple built-in graphics and text and thats about it.
Not sure about anyone else.
You can also do some pretty nifty artwork with MSPaint. I've done some pretty good MSPaint pictures over the years. It just takes some mastery to get it the way you want it. I'll show you guys if you'd like. It's just basic DBZ type anime.
On top of that a program like Microsoft frontpage Express (freeware on most computers) is really nifty and easy to use to make webpages. Then you just upload them to a site like geocities and voilla!
