Just a few questions:
What was your original motivation for running for office and why do you want to continue in this role?
What is your vision for the Justice Ministry?
What skills and experiences do you possess that make you suitable for this position?

Thanks Blackshear for your insightful questions.
Approximately one year ago I created Micon in Nation States. After about a month I came to reside in Canada. It was a friendly place and I eventually signed up for the offsite forum. Again it was a friendly place and from what I remember it was starting to get active again. We passed a new constitution and I wanted to be part of the group that made it work, therefore I ran for office. I was successful and became the new Minister of Justice.
During my past three terms I was responsible for keeping the Law Library up to date and getting the following pieces of legislation passed:
Government Conflict of Interest Guidelines
Dispute Resolution Legislation
Cabinet Disclosure Legislation
Board use and Ejection Guidelines
As the Minister of Justice I also worked with the members of Cabinet to uphold our laws and create fair and impartial trials on several occasions during the past few terms. I wish to continue in this role because I don’t believe that we have a system that is running at 100% yet.
I see the Justice Ministry as being responsible for the enforcement or our legislation. Any time the law has been broken the Ministry would be responsible for holding a trial according to our laws. This is an area where our laws would need to be improved. We would have to determine the Role of the Minister of Justice. Is the M of J to be the prosecutor or the Judge in the case. I would look into the creation of a tribunal system to determine guilt or innocence.
This position does require specific skills. As I have stated earlier I have been in the position for the past three terms. I have gained valuable insight into operating the Ministry online through past violations of our laws. Through real life situations I have gained a very good sense of impartiality. I think this is very important especially if the Minister must judge guilt or innocence.
I believe that the legislation that our Cabinet has passed over the past three terms with me as Minister of Justice has created great place to reside. I wish to continue that work. Our region has had very few violations of our legislation which is reflective of the work that both myself and cabinet have done. I look forward to serving all of the nations residing here in Canada.

I would like to thank Blackshear for taking the time required to post questions for each of the candidates in the upcoming election. The questions that were posed were very insightful and should give the members here the ability to choose the best candidate for each position.

No problem, Micon. I was actually a little surprised at how quickly and thoroughly everyone responded. The region will have some difficult choices in the upcoming elections.

We really do have a good group of people online. It really makes the job of Minister of Justice an easier job when everyone gets along.
Experience in the Region really helps with the position. Like I said earlier I have been in the Region for approximately 10 Months. I feel my experience makes me a natural fit for the job.

Inexperience in the region is the reason I didn't run for anything. I still have lots to learn and would like to carve out my own niche in Canada before I try to move onto greater things. I hope to be running for something in October.

Although this is nothing to do with the campaign trail, I agree wholeheartedly with your sentiment Micon.
