I'm still poking around the Aussie boards. Their old boards were suddenly shut down due to a power struggle. THis is their official communique:

If your reading this your probably aware of the removal of Fraternals forum which has come as a shock to everyone. Although some nations saw this coming ahead of time as the forums were taken on and offline over the weekend. Through speaking with Westaway in real life as she is currently visiting Tasmania and Docmania who was online yesterday we thought it would be best to create a back up off the forum in case the worst had happened. It appeared that Fraternal has taken this the wrong was and has since closed his and posted Private Messages between myself and Doc and older messages between myself and Retirement Villas. I am sure that Docmania and Retirement Villas feel violated like I have by having their Privates messages posted meaning that Fraternal was indeed reading our Private messages. I am probably not wrong in saying that others were violated in this way. I assure you that Private messages will be kept secure here as Privacy is extremlely important and that laws have been broken by the act of displaying private information.

Member of the nationstates region of Australia I ask that you assist in anyway you can by making this transition as quick as possible and Reubenlucy will be indeed returned as Admin should he accept the offer I have put to him. Which is that he be returned in the same capacity as before this happened. To assist in this transition is to pass this information on and by helping to get things back to normal. Please continue your threads here and let me know your post count from the old boards so that they may be restored. Please let me know if there is anything that can be done in order to make you feel more comfortable since it is a difficult time some nations may require support. I am hoping Penguin will take on a supportive role in her role of maintaining our Social Welfare.

To our allies, Ambassadors please pass the above information on to your respective countries and please rest assured that Australia will be back to normal A.S.A.P and will resume discussions with your nations. I am asking that you be as supportive as possible and help us through this time

I've asked them to contact me or any other Canadian official if they'd like assistance to help themselves through this troubled time in their region (i.e., assistance in stabilizing their boards, mediation, etc.)

Things have certainly been testing for Australia over the past few weeks. Lets hope that this settles down and they can return to normal.

We are used to internal chaos like this. Hopefully this new forum will stop most of the turmoil, and we can settle down, write our constitution and we look forward to new elections in the next month.
