Due to a conflict of interest that has been pointed out between my position here as Deputy Minister of Defence and my position of Minister of Defense in Alberta, I have decided to resign from my position in Canada. I will still be an active member of Canada, and may run for another (non-defense related) position in the next election, but untill then I'm out of government service.

I'm sorry to see you go, especially because it was the fault of others in your region. Go in peace.

It's a shame to see you go Oilers Fans, but you have made your decision and whatever reasons brought you to this have my support and respect. Good luck, and wishes of every success in whatever you decide to do.
