Kunai - the much purpose tool of the Ninja
Kunai translates, "effortlessly" or "without pains". It was an iron
multi-purpose tool of the carpenter people and other craft occupation.
There it was a very common tool that was able to lead it a Ninja without
being noticeable, with itself. There was the Kunai in the most deceased
executions and varied in the length between 20 and 40 centimeters. It
became most in a leather sheath, that carried at the belt or with a rope
diagonal over the torso.
The Ninja used the Kunai as a break-in tool and as a near weapon fight
weapon. Herewith it was used similar to a Tanto. The Kunai was however
two resolute in contrast to the Tanto wherefrom further possible uses
arose.
As a near battle weapon, the Ninja was able to cut therewith, was able to
pick, strike with the end, use levers and the Kunai as a projectile.
Sometimes secured of the Ninja also a rope with a weight or iron ring at
the Kunai and so emerged a "Kunai-fundo".
