Even though you seem to have a rather impatiant attitude, I will be patiant with you, considdering you are a "newbie", and help you.
Ok, with changing the avatar, you go into the same place that you go to change your sig. However, you click on "avatar options" ( or whatever it's called ) and you can either choose an avatar that they have, or you can choose one from another site, OR you can take one from your own computer.
You take one from your computer by pressing the "Brows" button, then you can find a rather small image that you want as your avatar that is on your computer and put it in there. After all of that, then you press "Update Avatar" and there ya go, new avatar! yey!
