I just got FFVIII the other day -I just got PS2 last X-mas and I want it!!!- but it won't let me save my game...
I was wondering if you can't save PS games to PS2 memory cards!?
Please help me!!! It is very tirering to play for 5 hrs straight..................

Nope, PS2 games can't be saved on PS memory cards, and PS games can't be saved on PS2 memory cards.
It's because the way the cards work, I could go into a long winded explanation, but I'm trying to level on an mmorpg. :P

I had that trouble too. I had to get a PS/PS1 memory card and place it in the second slot to save my FFIX and Spyro games. They really aren't that much and it's deffinately worth getting at least one! ^.^
Oh, and Boredom-san? I know this is off subject, but where did you get your avatar? I've seen the little cartoon that that is from, but I can't find it again! It's been bugging me!

I'm confuzzled.....you have memory cards...but not for PS....and yet you have no PS2?....or was that.....AAH! Don't do that to me!

Bjuhn, alot of the first PS2's (or was it second shipment? O.o) had electrical problems. I just felt like pointing that out since you said that you got it the day it came out. :P
Anyway, I just bought 4 PS1 memory cards the other day for 5 bucks a piece. They're uber-cheap now-a-days.

i didn't know that :blink: but i got it the day it came out in denmark. cant remember, but it was probably released a month or two after release in the states.... but anyway, i havn't had any problems with it so far....... great machine :)

I remember my dad had problems with his...but that was a long while before I got mine, and mine works great...they must have fixed it by then ^.^
