heh, i went to check the comic as soon as i saw this
whee, they got fish! yes, i think this comic was good
but uh, in the first panel, why is Jen's face blue or maybe it's a glow from mika's hand as she's healing her? erm, i dunno
but anyways, this comic was done well, 'nother good job! ^_^d

er, i was also wondering why the guys have their ears pierced? well i just noticed akira's ears in the last panel of the comic, i think the others have theirs pierced too

*l* why do they have earrings? erm... well. I just liked how it looked. When I first started the prelim drawings(which i will be sure to never post, they are quite badly drawn), they didn't have earrings. I didn't really like the outfits either... Mika's was more of a martial arts outfit, kinda like... hmm... just a kimono/karate shirt, y'know? and a pair of jeans cut off just below the knees. maybe i'll to a pic later to show or something... but um anyway, i really didn't like the way they looked. (kenji had long hair and looked a LOT like touga from "utena" though i hadn't seen utena yet...) but then i re-designed the outfits before i actually started drawing the manga. i guess i picked earrings because i liked how they looked and also prior to more recent times. earrings on guys wasn't all that uncommon. a lot of times it was a sign of "coming of age" that kinda thing. *shrugs* but anyway, that's the story :P
