Title: Do you know...
Duddits - March 14, 2004 10:04 PM (GMT)
We should have a Beatles trivia contest. And we can try to stump eachother. Can you tell me their favorite colors? If not you fail to win!
Paul McCartney - March 15, 2004 09:17 PM (GMT)
:ph43r: Here's a good one:
Other than Pete Best, who was the another member that stayed in teh band for quite a while before Ringo came along?
Mwhaha :P
Paul McCartney - March 15, 2004 09:22 PM (GMT)
Ha, a really good one.
Once The Beatles got famous, and got tons of money, they each bought houses for their parents. Do you know how much (or a close range) £'s each of the houses cost?
Duddits - March 15, 2004 09:26 PM (GMT)
Man Jason that first one was easy. Stuart Sutcliffe. I have no idea on the second one.
How about this one. What is the name of Paul McCartney's little brother and how much younger than Paul is he?
Paul McCartney - March 15, 2004 10:48 PM (GMT)
Paul's little brother is named Michael. I don't know his exact date of birth, but he's about 3 years younger than Paul.
Hmm, another one, which is probably easy:
What was Hey Jude originally named, and who was it named for?
Duddits - March 16, 2004 01:24 AM (GMT)
Mike was closer to two years younger. And man thats an easy one. Shortly after John and Cynthia got a divorce, Paul wrote Hey Jude with John's son Julian in mind. It was originally called Hey Jules, but Paul changed it to Jude because Jules was a mouthful to say.

This one isn't too hard but I can't think of anything else at the moment. What was the name of the man who shot John Lennon, and what was the date of the shooting?
Sgt. Pepper - March 18, 2004 08:45 PM (GMT)
Mark David Chapman, December 8th, 1980...thank god it wasn't Paul
Duddits - March 19, 2004 01:40 AM (GMT)
Good work Kish. Although I disliked that comment of thank god it wasn't Paul, I don't think I would have been any sadder if it was instead of John.
How about this. Before John met Paul, and Paul showed him the proper tuning for a guitar, how did John tune his guitar?
Paul McCartney - March 21, 2004 04:18 AM (GMT)
Wow. That one's tough. I have no idea.
Sgt. Pepper - March 21, 2004 08:02 AM (GMT)
Duddits...whatever you're on, I'll take two of.
Duddits - March 23, 2004 02:00 AM (GMT)
I am assuming nobody knows the answer. It happens to be this. John learned banjo before guitar, so he tuned the top four strings like a banjo, and he didn't even worry about the low E and A strings.
Next question is as follows.
What was the first song John wrote that was recorded. Not the first that he recorded, just the first he wrote that eventually was recorded.
KaleidoscopeEyes - March 23, 2004 02:07 AM (GMT)
Look, I discovered the trivia! Yey! No one answered the first question, how sad.
So here's their fav. colors, i think
Paul - blue
John - green
George - purple
Ringo - red
I think that's right. I feel special. Ciao all. Go have some cute steak. ;)
Sgt. Pepper - March 23, 2004 02:40 AM (GMT)
Heehee Cute steak. Um One After 909.
Sgt. Pepper - March 25, 2004 02:45 AM (GMT)
What great Italian love song did the Beatles record?
