whats the deal with that, have i got some kind of geneticly messed up pokemon?
and its attack is way up than my friends mewtwo by 10 points

Could be a shiny Mewtwo, or maybe just a glitch. I bet you aren't complaining though.

Just a pokemon of different colors. Each Pokemon has their own shiny version.

It's quite rare too. Finding a shiny version of a common Pokemon is lucky. Finding a shiny of a one-of-a-kind Pokemon like Mewtwo is almost unheard of. Unfortunately being shiny does not boost its stats (which is what most people thought), but you should display your Mewtwo like a trophy and they will be quite jealous.

but thanks bunnygirl :) now i know i dont have a rare pokemon but a really rare one! my friend also said that he saw a red gyrados in gold so he's got a rare gyrados! :D also how do you get volt tackle?

Red Gyarados in Gold isn't rare though. The Gyarados that you fight in the Lake of Rage is always Red.

also ive noticed that the mewtwo's attack raises by 2-5 points every day! it probably that pokerus[ pokemon virus ] that people talk about go to www.cheatplanet.com and look under pokemon firered/leafgreen and under the fire/leaf title it will say strategy guide. go to that and look for the questions and answers bit. it will tell you 2 things about the pokerus

Wow, I remember the huuuugggeeee topic about Pokérus. That went on for years. Besides, I think you're being forgetful because Pokérus didn't do that, but it did slightly increase the increse of stats per level.
