Description: Important: Read this.

Just to lay down some rules.

Forum guidelines

1.) Do not revive dead threads.
Don't post on a thread that has not been replied to for over 4 months. Nobody is interested in that topic anymore, so no one would reply.
If you are really interested in that topic, read about it in the old threads, and if you have any questions/comments that are not found in that thread, post a new one.

2.) Do not create new threads with a topic similar to another active thread.
Just post your queries/comments in the existing thread. Do not flood the forum.

3.) Do not double post.
Do not do so, especially if the second post contains irrelevant information or spam. If you want to add anything, just use the edit feature. Do not bump, unless the forum is exceedingly active and your thread goes beyond the first thread.(even so, try not to bump.)

4.) Do not spam.
Don't post irrelevant stuff like: lol, haha, ok, :spam:, etc.

5.) Do not go off topic.
Try to stay within the topic of discussion. If you want to discuss about another topic, post another thread.

6.) Do not flame.
This would only offend people, and an arguement would ensue. The thread would definitely go off-topic. It is tempting, but refrain from doing so, especially without a reason for flaming.

7.) Check other posts to see if your question has been answered before you post.
Having to give the same information over and over again is irritating. The stickied threads are stickied for a reason. They answer alot of questions, so refer to them before posting a question.

Guidelines for team rating/improvement.

Refer to the pokemon of the week thread and the legendaries thread (you legendary user!) for strategies on various pokemon.

See if any of the pokemon in your team is found in those threads.

Consider the movesets and strategies suggested and determine if they are suitable for your team. If they are, use them, if not then consider how it can help improve your team.

Refer to teambuilding strategies thread. (coming soon)

Post your team only after you have done these.

Generally, having two moves of the same type is a bad idea.

Having more than two pokemon which perform the same role is also not a good idea.

Include only the final pokemon in your team. (no hm slaves etc.)

If you disagree with anything, feel free to voice your objections, but do not flame.

Miscellaneous

Questions about the game should be posted in the pokemon helpline centre thread, or as a new thread, since that thread appears inactive.

Questions on the locations of pokemon should be posted in the rare pokemon location thread.

Stategies for a specific pokemon should be requested in the pokemon of the week thread. Check to see if that pokemon is already in the thread before you post.
