Zephyrion - May 13, 2003 05:21 PM (GMT)
Sure. FFX was great. However, it was great because of its graphical flair, made possible by the PS2. I didn't notice any real in-depth story to it, though. "Tidus gets thrown into this strange, unknown world. Yuna starts on a journey to defeat Sin. Here's what we saw on the way." Maybe I'm just illiterate...

I just love FFX and the upcoming sequel FFX-2! Once the game comes out, I'm getting it! And if it changes systems, I don't really care because I have all of them!

What about FFTA? I love Moogles, and now they're spreading through other games, like FFCC. Kupo.
Oh yeah, and it's the only FF game I've been able to play. ^^

Hey Zephyrion? When you think about it, most of the FF series has the same story.
We meet the hero (usually overpowered with the exception of Yuna in FFX-2), they like this girl or guy (or something like that...did Squall like Rinoa?) and they get thrown into a huge battle with an unknown enemy that's supposed to be super powerful and was too dumb to take you out. Meeting friends along the way to help your cause, you fight hundreds of battles until you meet this evil threat, kick his ass, return home, and all is peaceful until the next FF.
If that storyline base doesn't sound familiar to any FF game, then I don't know what FF is. Even if it's a repetitive story, FF is still a very good and addicting game.
FFX-2 was the best in my opinion. It was all about the Flower killing everything. Plus, it wasn't a heavily turn-based combat where only one person/monster gets to move while everyone has to wait (with some exceptions).
