...More oekaki. The first one is of Krystal from
Starfox Adventures. This is the first time I've ever drawn her, so I didn't do anything dramatic.
The second one is a Gerudo from the Zelda 64 games. The background for this one was referenced.

hey not bad I like, little too cartoony but not bad at all
bunnygirl - May 31, 2004 10:05 PM (GMT)
Well it makes sense that they are cartoony, seeing as how they are cartoons.
RayQuaza3 - May 31, 2004 11:01 PM (GMT)
I know but seeing them drawn manga style or something would look better IMO, not that hey look bad the way they are its just a matter of prefernce

Bunny how long does it take you to draw those pictures because it would take me i'd say 2 weeks to draw those.

Well, luckily the oekaki program records the times. The one of Krystal took me 6 hours and 20 minutes. I'm not sure about the Gerudo one though, because the animation messed up and I had to finish it on another board. I know it took less time, though.

ah so they are done on something like a paint/photoschop program, I thought you hand drew them
bunnygirl - June 1, 2004 02:54 AM (GMT)
I draw it on an oekaki board. It's definitely nothing like Photoshop (I do have Photoshop though and I have drawn some stuff with it). I find that the pixel look works much better when I draw on an oekaki board. It might not be as smooth, but I work more easily and it's more expressive.
And of course I hand draw them, with my tablet. Photoshop doesn't draw the artwork for you, QuestionMaster. It just gives you more options on how you want it to look.

Im still not entirely sure what an oekaki board is but whatever
rayquaza_gurl - June 1, 2004 07:55 PM (GMT)
go to www.dfoekaki.com/poteto/ that's an example of an oekaki board. You have to register, and when you do that, you get a draw option. You can choose from a few different programs, draw your picture, then submit it to be shown.
Oh yea, I love the tones bunnygirl =) very neat. And is that Nabooru..?

| And is that Nabooru..? |
Nope, this is just one of the Gerudos you fight. Nabooru wears pink and doesn't have bangs.
