in saphire once you beat the game it says on the tv that theres a flying red pokemon. i thought i might be latias but remebered that it's saphire so you only get latios which i caught. so is is groudon? and people say that you caught rayquaza. whehe?

Erraro - November 16, 2003 01:22 PM (GMT)
Whoah. What the hell are you smoking? Where in the bloody world did you get Latios, and what the hell gave you the idea that Groudon might be able to fly!?

Just a thought, the names are very similar *coughABOUT-AS-FAR-FROM-EACH-OTHER-AS-YOU-CAN-GETcough*, so you could have got it mixed up with Kyogre *coughYEAHRIGHTcough*. Do you confuse all things of the same colour with each other? Yeah, the red flying thing's Latias, and that big wet thingy in your PC is K Y O G R E, not L A T I O S. Read the name.

Oh, yeah - forgot to mention - wrong forum. Whoop-di-do.

Disaster Absol - November 16, 2003 06:50 PM (GMT)
Nyanyanya... :P
So, any INTERESTING news?

rayquaza_gurl - November 16, 2003 10:38 PM (GMT)
Ok...it's not groudon, that's for sure...O__o;; I'm pretty sure you just mixed up latias and latios, as Pyro said, the names look similar. And on Sapphire you catch latias, not latios, so you couldn't have caught latios. And what r u saying about rayquaza? It would help if you restated that with a little editing on your grammar and punctuation..sorry, but it was a little hard to read...

2legendary4u - November 16, 2003 11:08 PM (GMT)
beginner on the game.....

rayquaza_gurl - November 16, 2003 11:41 PM (GMT)
Actually, if you beat the elite four, you wouldn't be classified as a beginner...confused, maybe, but not beginner.

Disaster Absol - November 17, 2003 11:36 AM (GMT)
I thought Latios was in sapphire, not latias? Ah well, I own both games with both pokemon so I really can't remember...

rayquaza_gurl - November 17, 2003 12:01 PM (GMT)
Nope. I remember it by the colors of Latias/Latios are opposite of the game they're in. Latios looks like it should be in Sapphire, but it's in Ruby, and vice versa.

takeru91 - November 17, 2003 12:44 PM (GMT)
im not really a beginner. beat the game in like 3 days.. i played the old ones and im pretty tough.. but i have sapphire and i caught latios on the so called "egg" or southern island.. i can give you screenshots if someone can tell me how.. and yes.. i am a nube to a pokemon forum.. check me out in a golden sun forum and nobody would want to be near me..

Disaster Absol - November 17, 2003 02:29 PM (GMT)
You dirthy bastard... Using Gamesharks is for pussies!

No, I stated that Kyogre and Latios' names look similar, knee deep in sarcasm.

takeru91 - November 19, 2003 06:17 AM (GMT)
then can you guys tell me how to get latias?

Disaster Absol - November 19, 2003 02:48 PM (GMT)
Trade...or buy the other game, something like that. BUT DON"T YOU USE A GS!

Wait, did you use a Gameshark or an E-reader? Because with an Eon Ticket you can find the opposite Eon Pokémon, and it's distributed by Nintendo...I have the ticket but not the hardware to use it! :(

takeru91 - November 20, 2003 10:04 AM (GMT)
my friend got me an ereader and the ticket. so on the island when you check the "thing" latios appears and i catch it. but my friend got latias in ruby and went to the pokedex and it said that latias is found near evergrande city so i go there but nothing but wingulls.. someone help me..

Disaster Absol - November 20, 2003 04:58 PM (GMT)
Duh! It said that it apeared near Evergrande city because that's where it used to live. You know, just like you have a home but you can still go to other places!
And about WA, you just can't get latios/latias in the game where it doesn't appear, unless you trade or cheat.

Erraro - November 20, 2003 08:42 PM (GMT)
Use the eon ticket, and take the ship at Slateport down to Southern Island. There, you'll see an egg on the island. Talk to it to battle Latios.

nomekrhi - November 20, 2003 11:17 PM (GMT)
they just said they that caught Latios already and they are looking for Latias....okay...now i'm confused....

btw, takeru, the reason Latias wasn't there is that everytime you: go in a building, go out of a building, fly, or go to a different area Latias flys to a different spot.

psykicwylisan295 - November 25, 2003 05:43 AM (GMT)
if u go from route to route.. then latios will only move one section away from where it was

rayquaza_gurl - November 25, 2003 11:44 AM (GMT)
Not nessicarily. It changes to random places when you do an action that nomekhri said above, although it sometimes goes in order of route #.

Um, DA, Eon Ticket is a card you can slide through your E-reader and it's obtained at Nintendo conventions. You don't get it by cheating.

Stinger - November 28, 2003 09:33 PM (GMT)
Cheating is also an option. It is also the most common choice.

nomekrhi - November 28, 2003 09:37 PM (GMT)
yes, but the Eon Ticket isn't cheating....

bah...i can't cheat anyway, don't have nuttin' to cheat with.

That's right. Though, I did get Mew and Celebi at one of the Nintendo Conventions. I had to fight for it, and really hard too... Long live my over-cool team in S/C/G....
