from what i understand it is an insanely popular game in Japan, and popular in America as well. you play it entirely online. heres the link to the english website:

Ragnarok Online is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game,
produced by using a vast structure of background and storyline
from the original animation of `Ragnarok' written by Myung-Jin Lee.
It is developed as an Role-Playing Game focused on community
features.
Ragnarok was designed to characterize player's characteristics in the
game for each players to participate in such community inside the game.
When the game is commercialised, story line of Ragnarok will interact
with the original animation to maximize amusement of the game.
The graphic feature with 2D characters and 3D background
which is upgraded from the one of Gravity's latest game,
`Arcturus'and various music and BGMs composed
by TeMP will make Ragnarok more special.
Window based In-Game interface will let players be able to use most of
the game features only by mouse control. Also players can customize
most of game features for him/herself for better game play.jesus! that sounds awesome!
i might download it, but i have to find out more on the requirements like how much space you need etc.

I downloaded the whole game onto a CD-R, along with all the wallpapers and room to spare. So, it should be around 500 mB total. You do realize that you need to pay to play, right? I have my credit card ready. All I need is an income, and I'll have an excuse to play. ;) I can't wait...
