Title: Woo!

Anyone here heard of Into the Woods? (One of my favorite musicals, along with Cats, of course!) Well, my school is doing it for our spring musical! Very exciting! I've been cast as the Witch, something I'm looking forward to, as it'll be a stretch for me acting-wise. She's very outward and dominating, and that's not really who I tend to be, so I'll definitely be out of my comfort zone.
Anyone else got any shows coming up?

Not unless you count going to Cats (and hauling our very own Aural Vampire with me) this February. :P

Very cool! I've never seen it live, that I can remember. Just the DVD. According to my parents, they went to see it at least three times, but that was back when I "wasn't born yet" and was "Too young to understand". Excuses, excuses! :)

Aw, now I feel bad. This will be the six or seventh time I've seen it live the last 10 years.

Someday I'll see it! Probably if it ever comes on tour near where I live, or if some theatre group nearby does it.

I'm just lucky to live smack in between four decent-sized cities (and have seen the show in all of them, to date - plus AV lives in one of said large cities), so it tends to come to my area at least once a year. ^_^

I still think the best part about it is that it almost exactly marks the tenth anniversary of the first time we saw Cats live together.

Ahh, yeah, I live in the middle of nowhere! My town actually doesn't even count as a town, no one really knows what it is. It's just part of the township! It's this little village that was a big vacation spot back in the early 1900's, so it's on a lake, but we're so small that the lake covers our little dot and name on the state map! :) But we live close enough to some nearby towns and a city or two to make it to civilization occasionally! :)
