Title: Summer and the sunshine!! :D
Julia - July 15, 2003 09:34 PM (GMT)
Just thought I'd say how nice its been that summer seems to have finally made it back again over here recently (it has a habit of going missing in England when its supposed to be here!) - although supposed to be thunderstorms soon but hopefully the sunshine will be back after not too long :)
Anyone else been out on the beach? I managed to make it down there a few times recently. Was swimming in the sea again today which was quite nice. I ususally only go to the beach a few times a year which is really silly considering how close it is to me - am making an effort to get down there alot more with friends this year though.
However I don't think my tan is quite as impressive as Stephen's yet though... I find just sitting there doing nothing and sunbathing too boring! Have a feeling I'll be dragged off surfing/boogie boarding again soon too by my little brother - much more fun than sunbathing ;)

Have to say here in Germany it's a bit too hot at the moment. My room is right under the roof and it's like in the sauna up there! But that's the thing about the weather, no matter how it is, people usually complain about it ;) Anyway, I do enjoy the sun a lot. It's the first proper summer in ages here, too.
I live quite far from the sea so I have to settle for pools and lakes.
Stephen always looks very tanned lately. Even when I met him in March. My 2 friends and me look so pale against him in our photo! B)

Yeah, thats so true - no matter what the weather's doing most people complain. I remember being in Liverpool talking to people about how it was so cold and it'd be so much nicer in the summer, and now its here they are all saying how it's too hot. Where about's in Germany are you from?
He does seem to have a permanent tan at the moment, probably cos of his role in Joseph. But I agree most people do look kinda pale next to him - its a nice photo though :)
I think the surfing will be put on hold for a while my little brother was planning as he managed to sprain (thought he'd broken it at first) his wrist playing football. Guess I'll just have to have all the fun for him now ;)

My grandpa always says 'there is no bad weather, only wrong clothes'.
I'm from Fürth that's near Nuremberg in the southeast of Germany.
Aww that's too bad for your brother - I'd die being near the water and not being allowed to go in

Hehe thats a good saying! It's boling hot again here at the moment - was hotter in Rome last week though (I was on holiday there). Luckily for my brother I think his arm is on the mend and so he'll be allowed in the water with it no problems now but might not be strong enough to surf properly with it yet. I'm sure he'll have a go anwyay though
And oh right cool - soz if it seemed a bit random to ask where you were from, I lived in Germany (near Bremen) for a year and a bit before my parents moved back to England so was just wondering if you were anywhere near there. Hopefully I'll make it back for Freimarkt again in the next few years - thats always great fun and will be even better now I'm old enough to enjoy it properly.
