Title: Your favourite Stephen songs?

I know this is a difficult one for most people - but which song(s) that Stephen has sung have really struck a note with you?
Do you have a favourite one, either from his solos on Boyzone albums or singles, his solo album / singles or from perhaps the one off performances for tv shows? If so why is it you favourite / was it always a favourite from the first listen and if so do you remember the first time you heard it?

It is hard to say which is my absolute favourite Song that Stephen has done as I like them all, but I can narrow it done to
1) No Matter What: It's the first song that I ever heard Stephen or Boyzone ever sing, And I have liked them ever since.
2) Stay: Its the first of Stephen's Solo material that I have heard here In Australia being played.

Yeah it's quite hard to pick just one I find but I think 'No Matter What' is often a song that alot of people mention as one of their favourites - especially newer or foreign fans who possibly heard about Stephen for the first time due to that song.
It's amazing how often I hear about people still seeing that 50th Celebration at the Albert Hall on tv (obviously its being repeated etc) and then going on to find out more about Stephen and becoming a fan.

My fave Stephen song is definitely I Believe. It's been my fave song of all times ever since I listened to Stephen's album for the first time. It's very special to me and the lyrics helped me a lot in all kinds of situations.
No Matter What is special too - and so is A Different Beat... it's just a 'Boyzone hymn'.

:D This was a very difficult choice to make but my favoutie Stephen song would be I Believe which just edged out New Beginning. The words to the song have such meaning.
:D My favourite Stephen song from Boyzone would also have to be No Matter What along with A Different Beat. (Can I have 2)

I am little confused here,
On the lyrics for No Matter What, there is a line, where is says "A dream is being born <_< .
Then on another version, is says "A dream is big and bold". which one is right? :angry:

I love New Beginning too! I think my all time fave has to be Shooting Star though just cos he looks so gorge in the video and it was his first solo one... If you were mine is my favourite on video tho awwwww ssooooo cute!! :wub:

I did catch some of that Shooting Star video on MTV once but it was the end bit and I missed a lot. :( The song is great. :) It reminds me a bit of No Matter What. B)
