:D You have all probably read about this day on the Offical Messageboard but I thought I would post a report here.

What a day this was a fantastic day all round. Quite a few Stephen fans were around that day. We all started arriving at the theatre around lunchtime waiting for Stephen to appear. We thought it was a good idea to hide round the corner and make out that no one was there. Didn't work though. Stephen knew were we were. he stayed and chatted to us all for a while looking really relaxed and asked if we were going to the shows that day. Stephen sometimes asks the most silly questions.

Both shows were great that day. I only had a ticket for Row E or the 2.00pm performance but there were a few seats in Row A going spare so I shimmied down to Row A and sat with a few more Stephen fans. Stephen was on great form although it was nothing compared to the evening performance. Got a few waves at the end and a few smiles during the performance. I was practising the hand jive movements so that i had them perfected for the evening show.

Stephen had to dash at the end as he said he needed to pack but he would chat to us all later. So it was off for some food before changing and making our way to the theatre for the evening show.

It was great to see so many Stephen there for this show. He arrived about 7.30 but couldn't chat for long althouhg he did have photos taken with fans and signed autographs.

The show itself was fantastic. From start to finish Stephen was in brilliant form and his shouting at the end was the best that I have heard him do it. Great to also see so many fans joining in with the hand movements and everything. It must have looked a great sight from the stage.!!!!!!! I ended up having a cry toards the end the bit wre Joseph is reunited with his father. That part of the show always gets to me.

The finale was just electric. In fact everything about the evening was electric. What a night and what an atmosphere. It will live with me for a long time. I can't wait for his Offical final performance that will be some night.


Made the usual dash to the stage door. I would have normally stood back along with so many of the others but as |I thought it would be my last time of seeing Stephen I would make the most of it. I managed to get a hug off him although I did ask him first. Stephen made it through the crowd okay but i wonder what he made of it all. Mind you I think he was warned though!!!!

Anyhow, I enjoyed it soo much that I am going to do my best to make it to his last show . Wild dogs wouldn't keep me away evens if it means missing a football match!!!!

It was great to meet so many fans and I hope to have the pleasure of meeting everyone again. it truly was a great day.

Its nice to hear that you sound to have had a lovely couple of days seeing the show. And yes I remember seeing you before the first show - I think when we finally got introduced I was slightly worried as to what you had heard about me though :unsure: cos you said ah so you're Julia or something like that - eek!

Anyway I hope you do manage to make it to his actual last night - might see you there. I think if I am there I will find it quite bitter/sweet though...

I have only heard nice things said about you, :) but I felt a bit out of place seeing as I didn't know you aswell as other people did. It was great to finally meet you though and I hope that I have the chance to meet you again soon.

I hope you didn't think I was being a bit offhand or anything. :( Its just that when I meet someone for the first time I am usually a bit tongue tied. I promise I will be more adventurous next time.

I am hoping to make his final performances whenever they may be as I had such a great time last time. I don't know how I will react though knowing that Stephen will be off the scene for a while once his run ends. What will we all do!!! I just wish that they would announce something soon so that we can all prepare ourselves. I hate having to wait and it must be awful for Stephen and the cast not knowing what is happening.

I am hoping to make a few more performances before then so I may see you sooner rather than later Julia.

Ok and thanks :) and I hope you didn't feel too out of place :( Only a few people really knew me, although there are quite a few I've seen about at Stephen stuff in the past. There were so many people there it was all a bit mad. Don't worry I was only joking / just being paranoid ;)

If you see me there again (I'm not really there that much though) feel free to come and say hi if you want to - I'm the most unobservant person ever when I get near the theatre especially for some reason, so don't be offended if I don't spot you! Most of the time I don't even notice Stephen when he turns up or is about :unsure: :lol:

Just to let you know Julia I am coming down for Stephen's last performance on 13 September so I will hopefully see you there.

I can't believe that there is only 5 weeks left now. Now that we know the final date at least we can prepare ourselves although I think it is going to be an emotional evening.

We will have to make sure that we give Stephen a good send off.
