Who has been the best President throughout History?

I have to say 2....George Washington, and Abraham Lincoln.

This is a very difficult question to answer. I love History, and particularly american History. I could never narrow it down to just one president, but the top 10 in no perticular order are...

George Washington- Won the revolutionary war, his policies were the policies not only of his administration, but for the next 4 or 5...

Abraham Lincoln- Preserved the union during the civil war...

Teddy Roosevelt- First President to really take a role in economics by trust busting

Franklin Roosevelt- Saved us from the depression, stopped the Nazi's in WWII

Andrew Jackson- The People's President, won the Battle of New Orleans after the treaty for the War of 1812 was signed

Harry Truman- Got the Japanese to surrender and finally ended WWII.

Widrow Wilson- Lead us through WWI and had the right idea about the treaty to end WWI had the world listened, WWII might not have ever happend

JFK- Very charasmatic, and great leader. Helped stop the Cold war turning hot due to the Cuban Missle Crisis

Ronald Reagan- He virtually ended the Cold War

Thomas Jefferson- Made the Louisianna Purchase, the greates real estate deal in history(tripled the size of the country and was bought for 3 cents an acre)

All the Presidents were great. But I'd have to go for Ronald Reagan, he ended the cold war, he turned the economy into a superpower and liberated Eastern Europe. Reagan just had a conservative policy that almost everyone in Washington could agree with. He's just a great guy overall.
