Title: Happy's Who's Hot and Who's Not
Description: After the Brickyard 400

Who's Hot

1. Kevin Harvick -- Your Brickyard 400 Winner, if he continues on this pace, he'll be on track for a top 3 standings finish. Currently 7th in the standings, he's vieing for his first Winston Cup Championship.

2. Matt Kenseth -- Kenseth, your points leader shows why he's there, extending his points lead to over 286 over Dale Earnhardt Jr.

3. Jeff Gordon -- Gordon is on track to have some pretty solid finishes this second half, especially at Watkins Glen where he's dominated over his career.

4. Terry Labonte -- Fell a little after an accident in the Brickyard. Nevertheless, Texas Terry always a NASCAR favorite, is 14th in points with 3 Top 5s and 6 tops 10s. His team maybe gelling after all.

5. Michael Waltrip -- Another Top 15 finish for Waltrip lands him 5th here. He moved into 5th in the standings, he should have one more win before seasons end.

Whos Medium:

Dale Earnhardt Jr -- His inability to find success on non-restrictor plate tracks is really hurting his hunt for the title. After Indianapolis, he lost 54 points on leader Matt Kenseth and is now 286 points out of the lead. However, on the plus side, he is finishing in the top 15.

Tony Stewart -- A 12th place at the Brickyard and a blown engine at Pocono have Stewart more than likely demoralized in his title defense. Though he may not win the championship this year, he is just struggling trying to enter the Top 10 in points.

Who's Not:

1. Dale Jarrett, the incident on pit road that befell him earlier on added to his bad season. Your 1999 Champion and 3-time Daytona 500 winner is 28th in the standings and has only one top 5... the win at Rockingham earlier this season.

2. Ken Schrader, not qualifying for the Brickyard 400 shows the BAM Racing Teams struggle this season to even collect top 10s. He may have used up all of his provisionals.

3. Joe Nemechek, Starting to get involved in accidents, lowest in points out of all Hendrick cars. Front Row Joe, maybe known for qualifying well, but finishing the race is another story.

Good season Terry Labonte has been having. Bad for Dale Jarrett, man they need to regroup and just save themselves for next season

I think that's just about right with Kenseth, he hasnt won in awhile but the way he's lookin, he'll get the championship.
