Description: talking to justin, photos with the band
KniTingGrl - October 3, 2003 01:47 AM (GMT)
first off, motion city is one of my favorite bands, so this is is like a dream come true to me... last night, i drove 2 and a half hours into new york city to see motion city and rufio, and had a blast. They were amazing and i sang along to every song . In the middle of Rufio, i got a sudden urge to go near the bar, and low and behold: the members of MCS were right there! i walked right over to justin and got several pictures with him , then we talked about his amazing hair and i took several pictures of it...he even let me make it all messy for one photo. he also offered to send me a burned CD of all their old stuff and i gave him my email.
then i went over to josh and got a picture with him, then one with jesse, then one with tony , but they couldnt find matt so i didnt get one of him. I had such a fun time, and the band is so friendly, i love them.
by the way, if anyone is reading this that was at that show, i brought the beach balls...weren't they amazing?

you will never find matt. i saw him at the chicago show, but then he left right away with a girl....hmmmmm. anyways, i also saw tony but he was being mobbed by a group of girls so i figured i'd get a t-shirt and head out. but on the way i saw the guys from fallout boy and i just kept walking. they were terrible to say the least. and their whole spinning of the guitarist and bass player made me dizzy. ugh, mcs should play with the get up kids. that would rock!
nay - October 19, 2003 04:28 AM (GMT)
also, i think the spinny guitarist guy had lockjaw and couldnt close his mouth
just a thought
broken epi - October 19, 2003 06:29 AM (GMT)
hahaha, nay you are the greatest! lockjaw it is then. well, i have spent my entire night at a country dance bar. it was crazy. there were some really die hard country people there. i stood out like a sour thumb. hahaha, i guess thats my purpose in life.
KniTingGrl - October 20, 2003 08:24 PM (GMT)
I saw fallout boy a month ago with punchline, acceptance, and count
the stars and they were mediocre, but i didnt really watch them. for some reason i bought their cd .... the lyrics are so middle school level. i think justin is the backround singer for one of the songs though.
wow i am bored. does anyone know where i can find the "back to the beat''ep from mcs? i cant find it anywere.
broken epi - October 20, 2003 10:51 PM (GMT)
they were selling it in the mcs store but i thought i also saw it at the concert.
nay - October 21, 2003 01:30 AM (GMT)
the only song i could have liked was the one where justin came out and sang just cause of justin
twas the only one i clapped lots for
dont remember anything else about it tho..
KniTingGrl - October 21, 2003 07:35 PM (GMT)
yeah his voice rocks, he has amazing range... that boy can make any
song sound good.
broken epi - October 21, 2003 09:23 PM (GMT)
i love mcs, and right now i am listening to Death Cab for Cutie. they are awesome! this guys voice is amazing. it makes me happy.
KniTingGrl - October 23, 2003 08:08 PM (GMT)
i think they played last night in new york... my friend alana went
nay - October 23, 2003 09:31 PM (GMT)
i'm listening to copeland. i loooove his voice
and death cab played here the same night as mcs, methinks
broken epi - October 24, 2003 01:37 AM (GMT)
wow! i would have had to go from the mcs show to the death cab show if that had happened in chicago.
KniTingGrl - October 27, 2003 12:38 AM (GMT)
me and my friend dan were just walking to a record store. we saw this really weird guy twitching and freaking out on the sidewalk. his face was bright red and was all wrinkled.
nay - October 27, 2003 03:38 PM (GMT)
my ex best friend's brother pretended to have a seizure in chicago a few years ago
he and his friends went there to skate or somethin i think and they filmed it
he put a shot of it in a section he did for a skate video
it was hilarious
EDIT: i forgot the sick lookin face
KniTingGrl - October 27, 2003 08:58 PM (GMT)
ah, that would be funny but my grandma just had a seizure.
broken epi - October 28, 2003 02:46 AM (GMT)
KniTingGrl - October 28, 2003 08:45 PM (GMT)
i was visiting her when it happened... i had to call an ambulence and go to the hospital alone for 3 hours.
broken epi - October 29, 2003 11:38 PM (GMT)
wow! thats kinda scary. something like that happened to my great grandma once. but she was an old bitty, and she doesn't even know who i am, nor does she care to know who i am, so, i didn't have like a big breakdown because of it.
KniTingGrl - October 30, 2003 08:28 PM (GMT)
this is turning into a morbid topic.
here is one of my stories:
ok,i had to volunteer at a nursing home and the woman i was taking care of was mean. she threw rice pudding at me when she found out it wasnt tapioca pudding.
then when she had a break down and started to spaz out and randomly scream at people in gibberish she had to go to the hospital. when i brought her flowers and chocolate, she thought the plant was edible and took a little nibble off of it. then she threw out the whole box of chocolates exept for the "white chocolate" because " it was her grandfathers favorite".
___----<<the end>>----__
nay - October 31, 2003 04:50 PM (GMT)
hahahahahahahahahahaha
i hope those were meant to be funny
silverdinosaurs - October 31, 2003 09:39 PM (GMT)
OH NO her grandfather was crazy, everyone knows grandfathers like worthers originals and they give them to their grandchildren OH NO
KniTingGrl - October 31, 2003 11:55 PM (GMT)
uhhhhh__ i guess its in a way funny, but from my point of view its tragic because i never learned her name. they put me in this room that smelled like apple -ish spice that was to strong and 2 seconds later she was insulting me and making me find a toothbrush. i think her name was helen.
she also never changed her cloths so they were rotting off and vey much stained it was disgusting . she had a collection of old band aid tins because they were made of "metal"---- when she had a spaz attack she was talking about being alone in a babys shoe.
poor, poor helen.
broken epi - November 1, 2003 11:15 AM (GMT)
hmmm, thats kinda creepy. :( anyone who collects old bandaid tins creeps me out. and right now i cannot stop sneezing. argh.
KniTingGrl - November 1, 2003 06:42 PM (GMT)
she was very creeepy. i cant remember one thing she said to me that made any sense at all. i never want to get old
olay! olay!
broken epi - November 2, 2003 02:42 AM (GMT)
you know what would have been funny. if you would have started talking gibberish to her. maybe you two could have had a great conversation. hahahaha!
KniTingGrl - November 2, 2003 04:32 AM (GMT)
HAHAHAHAHAHHA i do that with my friend joe all the time!!
we make no sense whatsoever and it is MAGICAL

yummmmmmmmm

i don't like werther's originals. i like m&m's and sometimes sour skittles (but only if i have pop and sour skittles).
silverdinosaurs - November 4, 2003 03:51 PM (GMT)
I like malteasers
and crisps (thai sweet chilli walkers sensations of course)
and salt and vinegar walkers max
aand skittles
and rolos
and smarties
I like most sweets. M&ms aren't as good as smarties by the way
My friend Kristen used to bring back Hershey's when she went to Connecticut (babysitters club babysitters club!)
and we used to get to eat them

KniTingGrl - November 4, 2003 08:57 PM (GMT)
pop rocks crackle in my mouth and sometimes if you eat enough they hurt
also also i like twix becasue it is CRUNCHY COOKY and CREAMY CARAMEL
and shock tarts i love blue but i have never actually seen a blue raspberry have you?
also doughnuts but krispy kreme are very greasy, but oh, so fattening
cherry 7up was a bad idea blech its almost as bad as that horrible pepsi blue.
when i went into the city they were giving out free pepsi blue nobody drank it they took one swig and threw it out eventually the streets were lined with bottles of it
OH
silverdinosaurs - November 4, 2003 09:10 PM (GMT)
Bue pepsi? Even though I don't like pepsi, I have a feeling because it's blue I would love it
I am so fickle, I would eat poop if it was blue
(I actually wouldn't because that would be disgusting)
KniTingGrl - November 4, 2003 09:31 PM (GMT)
it was 'berry infused cola" buttttttttt they stopped making it becasue it MADE ME SICK i think some people liked it .
and those people had thier taste buds scraped off with a butter knife long ago
silverdinosaurs - November 4, 2003 09:37 PM (GMT)
Maybe they stopped it because people liked it, so people would complain it was gone and then they'd get heaps of publicity
Yep, I'm clutching at straws.
They stopped making Cremola Foam despite the fact that everyone loves it, so that's the only logical explanation.
Well not exactly logical. But an explanation none the less
broken epi - November 5, 2003 03:54 AM (GMT)
blue pepsi was good. now you can't find it anywhere. its kinda sad, i loved that stuff. right now i am eating girl scout cookies. everytime i eat these things i think of an old cackling witch boiling up little girl scouts in her pot to make cookies. and that makes me laugh! :)
KniTingGrl - November 5, 2003 08:34 PM (GMT)
im going to have to disagree with you on the pepsi thing.
ah,well its only soda, right? also: the color of pepsi blue IS rather pretty i suppose thats a good point of it.
girl scout cookies are good.... i like the mint ones.
i watched a movie called 'waydowntown" it was.... interesting
broken epi - November 5, 2003 10:17 PM (GMT)
i just made mac and cheese. it isn't good. i can't cook and should really stop trying.
