One time I was sitting on my bed which is a water bed... And my friend started to hiccup. Now being on a water bed it made them feel that much stronger. I just sat there with each hiccup the bed shook.

I looked at my friend and told her to go and get a drink and she says to me in the process of hiccuping " No Hic. That's okay Hiccup.. Th hic they will pass. " I just laughed at her and said " Okay"

Mean while her hiccups are still coming but they seem to be much faster and a bit harder. My friend asks me to put one hand on her back and one hand on her tummy to hold her and see if the hiccups would go away. Sadly they didn't they just progressed that much more.

So I sat their holding my friends tummy for her trying to help her get ride of the hiccups. With each hiccup her tummy jerked that much harder, So I thought about it and I started to rub her tummy because she was complaining they were hurting it. * Sigh * It was a while befor those pesky hiccups went away.. Poor girl.

ur story evokes memories - of a friend i quite fancied and who used to get hiccups like chirpgirls. if she'd ever gotten a full-blown case i'd have become extremely tactile, suggesting i hold her chest to ease the tension :->

so how often du get them and how long for and has water ever failed to cure urs? i just love it when that happens!

knowing that one hand washes the other, i havent had a full=blown case in years but i used to get double syllabled ones which basically consist of a hard hic followed by an involuntary sigh, like "huck-ah!"

just to aid my visualisation, what du look like? i'm 5'1", 107 lbs with dark brown hair and hazel eyes. *lol* picture me as brittany murphy.
