I can finally tell you about a couple of hiccup incidents at work!
About two weeks ago, I received a call for an ambulance at a nursing home. The nurse who called had the hiccups. They were good, strong ones, and she even acknowledged that she had them.
I couldn't really comment about the hiccups, because the situation at hand was actually serious. I did have to keep the caller on the phone to ask key questions and provide pre-arrival instructions. She hiccupped the entire time.
Also, the new person on the shift gets hiccups, every day, which only last about a minute or so. She then either drinks water or they go away on their own. Her hiccups are the high-pitched squeaky type, which I don't enjoy so much.
Anyway, that's it, except for the fact I found a "drunken hiccups" video, which is quite amusing. The question is, now, how do I upload it to the site?
And how come no "hiccup" emoticons???

The best way is to go to www.hiccuplovers.net and email it to EC.
