HPU is fantastic. Maybe not the most active RPG out there, maybe not the most popular, but I have met so many people through here who have become good friends, and I have taken away many a fond memory.

I don't think I have posted a single thing all semester. I honestly don't. Had I not gone through sometime in September or October to clean up inactive threads a bit, I don't think I would have been active on this board at all. Truth be told, this semester has been extremely busy for me, and it's only going to get more busy from here on out. I'm going to be taking 19 credits next semester and preparing applications for graduate school. I will be in Europe for a good six weeks this summer. I'll be researching and writing two honors theses the following academic year. And then I'll be a gradstudent. What I'm trying to say is I'm afraid there is no way I will be able to remain a professor or, really, an active member on these boards any longer. I'm sorry.

It's so funny to think that I was a senior in high school when I first joined, and now I'm getting ready to apply for graduate school. I remember sitting in my fifth period class -- I was an aide for the Environmental Science class -- posting away on HPU. My character has evolved so much since then, and it's been so fun getting things to where they ended up. It's been genuinely fulfilling to be an active part of something. The members here are of an insurpassable quality.

I never would have predicted that things would be the way they are today. I was going to be a Mathematician, I was going to move in with my boyfriend. Then I was going to be a teacher, and I was planning on marrying my boyfriend. Now I am single, and it's the best thing I've ever done for myself, and I am going to be a Historian or possibly a Classicist. Who'd have ever thought? And HPU has been a part of each step of that journey.

Thankyou everyone for enriching my life these past three years. I truly wish that I could stick around, but duty calls.

Breena, I love you dear, and I'm very sorry that my activity has dropped off so sharply this past year or so.
