Description: Preferably someone i dont know!

Kerrie Bourbon - December 6, 2005 10:51 PM (GMT)
The lake was almost completely frozen now and Kerrie was looking forward to going skating. She looked out over the sleek sheet of ice and shivered it was freezing outside and Kerrie didnt need another cold she was prone to getting them through the christmas holidays and was determined to go home this christmas without a runny nose and red puffy eyes.

I'll make it a nice quick skate. She thought, tying to convince herself that it wouldnt take four hours to finally get off the ice. she sat down on a stump near the lake and began putting on her white figure-skates, she pulled the strings tight and wiggled her toes inside of them, her big pink wool socks poked out of the tops of her skates and she giggled. She knew she didnt lool that attractive when she put socks on underneath her skates but it was the only way she could prevent her feet from freezing.

Kerrie stepped out onto the ice and felt her skates glide along the ice she could feel the cold air stinging her face and see her breath floating out of her mouth. She skated in a couple circles and then heard someone clear their throat behind her. She squeaked a tiny scream and looked bhind her.

"Heh, Hi."

Xanthe Chapel - December 28, 2005 11:20 PM (GMT)
"Hiya!" said Xanthe cheerfully. She wobbled slightly then regained her balance but her smile dropped slightly. Her boots were charmed to assist her whilst she was learning to skate, but it seemed that the charm was beginning to wear off... She was wearing a white winter coat with thick white trousers, the sort you wear to go skiing in, and her light hair made her seem almost ghost like from behind. She shivered and smiled awkwardly at Kerrie. "I'm Xanthe! I can't skate, could you give me a hand? My Dad taught me a charm to help me keep my balance but its wearing off!" she said cheerfully, but there was a guarded look in her eyes. She wobbled again. "I'm not the most athletic of people lets put it that way..."
