Title: STUPID SCHOOL!!

Kerrie Bourbon - September 23, 2005 02:04 AM (GMT)
AUGH NOBODY is on since school started, i mean i know that everybody has homework and stuff but its soo annoying that nobody is ever on. theres ben like 3 new posts isnce like friday last week....actually maybe i should start posting more....huh what a concept lol anyway im going now to rid you all of my gruesome annoyingness. Ta ta~~

Robert DeSota - September 23, 2005 02:23 AM (GMT)
Ah, it's not just school kiddo. Some of us (like me) are college students with SEVERAL courses and the homework and projects and what not to go with it, as well as practicaly full time jobs to help pay for said classes.

Me myself I'm currently taking three classes (3 hours on monday and wensday and then 9 hours on tuesday and thursday) along with two jobs. One takes me away most fo the weekend and the other occupies all my time on the weekdays that school doesn't.

But even I do a decent job of keeping up with everything

Prof. Lex Malfoy - September 23, 2005 02:27 AM (GMT)
Amen Robbie.

classes in general take up alot of time, and adding a job on top of that can really take it out of you.

Hopefully activity will pick up soon, just keep on posting!

Prof. Sarah Kerrigan - September 23, 2005 03:03 AM (GMT)
Can I complain as well?

I'm in Uni, and I'm taking 5 classes, although I don't do job. I have no idea how you survive that Robert, really. I'm impressed.
But even with 5 classes I'm over my head with homework. I mean, technically for every hour in class I should take up 2-3 hours of homework max. It takes me like 6 hours for one darn chapter that's about 40 pages long....*sighs* I'm off to do biochem.

And I'm sure activity will pick up soon as well ^_^

Well I'm new and I'm still in secondary school so even though I've started GCSE courses my workload isn't very high. Still its more than last year... So isn't it always like this? I thought it seemed a little slow! :boxed:

In the first few weeks of term the teachers at schools are really tough, especially if they're new and give out tons of homework so that might be why some of the school aged members aren't around...

Dracona N. Illinean - September 23, 2005 07:34 PM (GMT)
Eh... It's not so much school, but rather the other school stuff that I've been doing; I'm on my school Volleyball team, which just eats away at time... and then I'm singing in a benefit concert soon, so I've been practicing a lot... And truthfully, I'm starting to lose my like of RPing...

Alexandria Riddle - September 30, 2005 10:48 PM (GMT)
I agree..and also HPU seems dead compared to what it used to be.. which is scary to me because i remeber the days back when there was 11 people on at once or even more.. *thinks back*

ehh sorry.

I just started high school which is also made me overly busy. Its weird because before high school I had a whole bunch of time on my hands. but now with my classes and homework I'm just busy all the time and I am rarely on..

I could always RP with people for old times sake, but Alex is kinda.....arrogant.

Ashely Wyatt - October 4, 2005 07:24 PM (GMT)
I MISS SCHOOL! **Sniffles . .. .** Alright thats enough for me. . .

Alexandra DeSota - October 4, 2005 08:29 PM (GMT)
Here!!! Here!!! I know exactly how you feel. I have been working full-time for 2 years and it has been the longest 2 years of my LIFE!!!!!!!

Marie Richards - October 4, 2005 09:55 PM (GMT)
I know what you two mean! I'm still in school but I got a taste of full time work all summer...working all day then coming home and crashing. It's awful!

Makes me wish I never had to leave college...course it's too expensive to stay.

Dracona N. Illinean - October 5, 2005 04:05 PM (GMT)
*hums under breath*
I wish I could go back to college
Life was so simple back then
What would I give to go back and live
In a dorm with a meal plan again *sigh*

I wish I could go back to college
In college you know who you are
You'd sit in the quad and think, "Oh my god,
I am totally gonna go far!"

How do I go back to college
I don't know who I am anymore
I wanna go back to my room and find a message
In dry erase pen on the door *oooh*

Hehe... I would continue, but it starts to get obscene. It's "I Wish I Could Go Back to College" from the Musical Avenue Q...

I dunno, school's pretty easy for me right now, and I think my laptop has a lot to do with it. But outside of school, I can't seem to get a grip on anything properly... it'll get easier once Volleyball ends, but Danielle is pushing me to then join Swim since I'm about the only person she knows who can do the Backstroke or Breaststroke reasonably well. She doesn't get the idea that I suck at swimming overall though... Eh... whatever. I miss those days when I didn't have so many extracurricular activities... I'm in a math competition, two science competitions, two choirs, (plus whatever my mum signs me up for,) violin, and my mum's odd jobs to do, and RPing seems so unnecessary compared to how much I used to adore it.

I'm talking too much again, aren't I...

Marie Richards - October 5, 2005 07:36 PM (GMT)
ah! I love that song! avenue q is awesome! *bows in worship*

and don't overload yourself too much, saying no is a good thing. I learned that the hard way.

Dracona N. Illinean - October 5, 2005 11:38 PM (GMT)
Eh... the problem is they're all so... well, addicting. I want to do them all. I just don't like the outcome.

Cyn Canadensis - October 8, 2005 09:04 PM (GMT)
Agg. School in general usually sucks arse. Me, I'm just a freshmen, and I hate it. Then again... they put me in all the smart classes, so that might have something to do with it. I'm freaking drowning in geometry... ahh. Truly, do we ever really use proofs anywhere outside of mrs. chace's hellhole of a classroom? No one who knows will give me a decent answer because they all know the warden will flatten them if they give me the slightest glimmer of hope that getting a B- isn't that bad. I feel for you guys in college... never been there, but the whole empathy thing really lends itself to the situation. Drowning in work is never fun. Seems like the little things that keep you sane all kind of fall through the cracks in the floor, like those neon green things from James and the Giant Peach. hee hee, fun. I always thought they looked like macaroni...

Ah. Please excuse my the mental state of the person writing this. She's not quite sane.

(ooh, by the way... AVENUE Q ROCKS MY POLKA-DOTTED SOCKS!!!)

Dracona N. Illinean - October 8, 2005 11:27 PM (GMT)
An average grade is supposed to be B. But then again, a failing grade is supposed to be a 75 or lower, and history and english are the only classes where I consider that to apply.

I'm not in college! I've never been to college! I've only been in a college for the FPS IC. ...

I almost know what you mean about the advanced class part... Only they're all normal now instead of overly easy. Now... *heads off to figure out how she got a 78% in French*

YAY! AVENUE Q ROCKS MY BRITISH FLAG SOCKS!!! *dances*

Eh... I think I have absorbed some radiation or something from that friggin stupid copy machine... *kicks the friggin stupid copy machine*

Cyn Canadensis - October 10, 2005 06:19 PM (GMT)
:bows in submission/awe to the british flag socks:

woot radiation! :w00t:

-I'm so happy that they put me in the easy math class.-

Even though that isn't helping my science grade now is it, Cyn? I swear I want to kill our teacher. Honors Physical Science isn't my first priority, but she talks to us like it is.

I only enjoy my Writing and English classes, not too much work on my part. But everything is so time consuming now.

Freshmen year = drag.

Well, the schoolwork part is, and the classes. Everything else is fun. I think. =P

Ashely Wyatt - October 18, 2005 08:08 PM (GMT)
Hmm . . .I had a great freshman year . . . .I even got a lead role in the play that year . . .**reminisces happily**
